Could these facts change your opinion on communal spaces in workplace design? 🤔 It's interesting how human brain works towards change and innovation. We naturally tend to put more focus and energy towards the negatives. Even though communal areas in the workplace is very much old news to most of us, most businesses (or the decision makers) are still focusing on the fact that a few sofas and a kitchen island is a distraction for the employees rather than an investment into their company culture and employee wellbeing.
