Fashion World's foray into gaming industry! The legendry fashion brand Tommy Hilfiger founded by its namesake designer Tommy Hilfiger popularised classic American cool apparel trend integrating East Coast Classics with a laidback West Coast twist. Moreover, the juxtaposition of gaming with fashion had opened up a plethora of opportunities for the fraternity using gaming console. This strategy was catching traction as a horde of fashion houses were incorporating video games into marketing and for brand identity. Arguably, games provided a grand pathway for fashion houses to popularise their new and admired products. Tommy Hilfiger with Joe Lamastra established Hilfiger Venture and collaborated with Tilting Point to launch 'FashionVerse', a free-to-play mobile game. FashionVerse initiated Generative AI to enhance 3D looks and elevate graphics along with diverse avatars. Would Tommy Hilfiger's alliance with gaming integrating the real and virtual world carve a global business niche? #Tommy Hilfiger; #Hilfiger Ventures; #Tilting point; #FashionVerse; #Lifestyle products; #Inclusivity; #Uniqueness and youthfulness; #Gaming with fashion; #Incorporating video games in marketing; #Brand identity; #Digital transformation; #Generative AI; #Enhanced 3D looks; #Diverse avatars; #Integration of real and virtual world

MICHAEL KORS TO COLLABORATE WITH FASHIONVERSE GAME FashionUnited FashionVerse, the interactive mobile fashion game utilising AI technology from Hilfiger Ventures, co-founded by fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger and Joe Lamastra, and game publisher Tilting Point, has announced its first collaboration with American fashion brand Michael Kors. The limited-time collaboration from March 6 to 10, will see the Michael Kors brand integrated into the FashionVerse universe to allow players to experience "the life of the Michael Kors woman". Inspired by Michael Kors’ spring collection, players will be able to take part in a new scene each day, from the airport to the office to a photoshoot, while experiencing styling multiple new characters along the way. Players will outfit models using real-world Michael Kors accessories and ready-to-wear items such as dresses, rompers, outerwear, handbags, footwear, and sunglasses. Once all five challenges are completed, players will be rewarded with an exclusive Michael Kors digital handbag. Since the game’s launch just six weeks ago, FashionVerse has been downloaded over a million times and players have created close to 5 million scenes. Hilfiger Ventures, Tilting Point, and developer Brandible also reveal that the game has shown high retention numbers and longer play sessions than previous generations’ fashion games, with an average of 27 minutes in the game per player per day, nearly matching Instagram’s 33 minutes per user per day. In addition, its monetisation KPIs have doubled since launch and is on an upward trajectory. FashionVerse collaborates with first fashion brand FashionVerse converges fashion and gaming and originated from an idea from Hilfiger himself, and utilises Brandible’s proprietary AI model to create photorealistic 3D avatars, settings and props, providing a virtual experience where “everyone is a creator”. It allows players to take on design challenges to create perfectly curated fashion sets, share their creations, vote on other stylists’ scenes, comment on favourite looks, win rewards and unlock new clothing styles, all while discovering the latest trends from real-world fashion brands. Kevin Segalla, chief executive of Tilting Point, said in a statement: “From the start, we loved Hilfiger Ventures’ vision for FashionVerse to become a platform for global brands to create new, accessible and interactive ways to engage with their fans and customers, and having Michael Kors join as our first integration is proof that we are onto something big. “FashionVerse collaborations enable exclusive experiences for players, marking a significant stride in the convergence of fashion and gaming.” https://lnkd.in/g-wWcg95 #metaverse #fashion #investment #web3 #nft #btc

Reebok partnered with Futureverse and launched a chat on instagram "Reebok impact" that helps users convert cherished moments into sneaker designs through a new artificial intelligence (AI) tool. Consumers can direct message a dedicated Reebok Impact account with their favorite photo memory to start a real-time chat with an AI. The #bot will then craft a custom shoe inspired by the picture submission’s color scheme and style, with the original photo inlaid into the sole of the product as a digital keepsake. Users can tweak the sneaker’s design and share or purchase the virtual footwear as files that are #interoperable with popular games including Fortnite and Roblox. #web3 #customerexperience #cx #technology #digital #digitalinnovation #innovation #digitalexperience #customerengagement #virtualexperience #ai #artificialintelligence

AI is becoming fashion's newest muse. Apparently. Reebok has taken AI integration a step further by launching an immersive "Reebok Impact" experience on Instagram. This first-of-its-kind public AI fashion experience allows users to create custom digital sneakers infused with AI-generated art. How does it work? By sending a photo to Reebok's Instagram account, their AI partner Futureverse crafts a unique sneaker design inspired by the colors and style of that image. Users can then customize the AI-made digital shoe further by choosing classic Reebok silhouettes like the Pump or Classic Leather. These AI-designed virtual sneakers can be shared on social media or even purchased as game-ready files for platforms like Fortnite and Roblox. Just a month ago, Nike showcased a collection of AI-designed sneakers called "A.I.R" at an Olympic-themed exhibition in Paris. These concept shoes were created by an AI system that analyzed data from elite athletes like Victor Wembanyama to generate unique shapes, styles, and features tailored to meet their specific performance needs. The AI came up with futuristic designs ranging from aerodynamic silhouettes to shoes with massive sole units, all branded with the "A.I.R" logo. The integration of AI and fashion is officially out of its early stages as leading brands are racing to adopt the technology. Which brand do you think is next in line? #DigitalFashion #AIFashion #AIArt #ArtificialIntelligence #GenerativeAI #Nike

Digital fashion. Metahuman. Unreal Engine. All real-time. But this is barebones high street style. No frills. Is it even possible? Most digi fashion content tends to lean heavily on fantasy and the impossible because that's the great benefit of being digital. At BasedAF we're obsessed with relatability and authenticity when it comes to digital characters. This was a challenge to see if we could create the feeling of a high street brand shoot but fully in real-time. It's just the simple little things in the performance but you also need to optimize the studio and lighting so it favors the clothing and the facial performance. Here I'm wearing RTFKT but we've done some bonkers shoots now with digital fashion. It's kind of amazing what you can do. Our thesis: that wearables might connect for people if you make the access point really relatable. This is one way to do that. There are others. Wait till you see what we did with unboxing... #unrealengine #digitalfashion #animation #vicon #faceware #stretchsense #rtfkt #mocap

And what if I tell you that we have a chance for better fashion, better world and better consuming? 😎 Vogue Business article by Maghan McDowell made my day. Virtual try-on tools have shown to decrease return rates and increase conversion rates. 😍 An estimated 85% of US apparel brands and retailers either use or plan to use virtual try-on tool. Before to deep dive into this insightful article, please check some major conclusions from the market: Retailers observe higher engagement and browsing time with virtual try-on options and their customers express increased confidence in making online purchases with the help of avatars and fit predictions. Brands see fit tech as aligning with sustainability goals by reducing returns and environmental impact and financially, reducing returns can improve performance and lower costs for brands. Tech providers must address concerns about data storage and comply with privacy regulations because customers are hesitant to share personal information required for creating avatars. #innovation #ai #virtualtryon #aifashion #ecommercesuccess https://lnkd.in/ermd7DWn

Imagine trying on clothes without leaving your couch? 😯 As my master thesis research continues, I discovered some pretty cool ways avatars are used in the fashion context. Using 3D technology, you can see how that new outfit in the online shop looks on YOUR avatar, your personalized digital representation. Now you can really see if those pants will be long enough, so you can avoid those annoying returns! 😫 Online retailers like Levis’Store and ZARA SA have included virtual try-on capabilities with customized avatars. MANGO recently invested in UNION AVATARS, a platform specializing in creating customizable avatars. Can avatars improve the customer experience? Stay tuned because I am about to find out in my master thesis research! #fashiontech #avatars #futureoffashion
