Did you know...? Early on for Animaniacs, I made a model of the water tower since I knew it would be a central location we would return to over and over. I used emissive materials to keep it looking flat and less CG. Most times you see the water tower in the show and in promo shots, we used the model. It was great to have it always be consistently proportioned, and if you wanted to add another layer of paint on top for the specific scene - you didn't have to spend too much time. You can see at the end of the video how I incorporated it into BG for the album cover of the vinyl release that came out earlier this year. Work done up front that paid dividends thru the whole run of the show.
