High Lethality Risk Alert In the early hours of the morning, at 1:15am, Control Alt Delete took swift action to protect a Survivor of domestic violence. With the abuser set to be released from police custody, we changed the locks on the survivor's home to ensure their safety. Domestic violence is a serious issue, and we are committed to providing immediate support and protection to those in need. Through Policing-Free Schools I see the ways that police and policing institutions insatiably seek out proximity to, access and contact with children and youth. This access and contact with children and youth for many young people IS ADVERSE POLICE CONTACT and harm shows up in multiple ways. #Polooming (Police + Grooming) is one of those ways. Rather than safeguarding children and youth—many including elected officials, schooling spaces, administrators, non-profits, charities, organizations etc. create and feed pathways for police access to young people.
