On World Mental Health Day, October 10, 2024, McCann Worldgroup Thailand host a series of activities that emphasize our commitment to mental health and well-being as a priority for our team. This year’s theme is “It’s Time to Prioritize Mental Health in the Workplace.” To champion well-being across MW, we’ve organized a Resilience Workshop led by Me Hug in the morning, followed by body massage sessions in the afternoon. These activities are designed to foster relaxation, provide tools for managing stress, and encourage our team to reflect on their mental and emotional wellness.

May is National Mental Health Awareness Month, which aims to raise awareness and communicate that mental health is essential to our physical and emotional wellbeing. It's no secret that as bodyworkers, our dedication to nurturing others often comes at the expense of our own well-being. But this month, let's make a collective commitment to prioritize self-care. As we strive to cultivate holistic well-being, it's essential to recognize that mental health is an integral part of the equation. Join us for a special Happy Hour & Fellowship dedicated to celebrating our commitment to mental health support. This isn't just a networking event; it's a chance for us to come together, share experiences, and explore how we can better integrate mental wellness practices into our lives. It is a space for us to pause, reflect, and recharge our own batteries. Whether you're a massage therapist, reflexologist, acupuncturist, or any other bodyworker, your presence, dedication and perspective are deeply valued. Let's come together to honor ourselves, celebrate our resilience, create a supportive community where we uplift each other and champion mental health for ourselves and those we serve. Message now to reserve your spot and be part of this empowering conversation! Together, let's pave the way for a future where mental health is prioritized in every aspect of holistic care. When we prioritize our mental health, we not only enhance our own lives but also elevate the care we provide to others. #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth #BodyWorkers #MentalHealth #MentalWellness #SelfCare #ComplementaryMedicine

At Society, nurturing a culture of empathy and support is our top priority, recognising that each individual's journey toward mental wellness is unique and worthy of respect. Just like A.A. Milne's timeless wisdom from Winnie the Pooh, "You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think," we believe in empowering individuals to recognise their inner strength and resilience. This week serves as a reminder to prioritise self-care, seek support when needed, and foster a culture of understanding and empathy. Through awareness, understanding, and kindness, we strive to create an environment where every member feels empowered to navigate life's challenges with courage and strength. https://lnkd.in/gq7NeA8

Wellbeing - Powerful reminder to connect If someone at work asked you ‘Are you okay?’ today, how likely would you be to respond truthfully? While we understand the importance of talking about our mental health, it can still be frightening to open up about our feelings to others, especially at work. Today’s R U OK? Day is an annual event held on the second Thursday of September in Australia. It serves as a powerful reminder for people to connect with others and ask a simple yet vital question. The initiative encourages individuals to reach out to family, friends, and colleagues, sparking conversations about mental health and emotional wellbeing. To help you approach these conversations with authenticity, empathy, and sensitivity, read more about some practical steps you can take here: https://lnkd.in/gscS4Ufx

Prioritizing mental health as we approach the end of the year. As we step into November, we reflect on the importance of mental health, especially following October being Mental Health Month. At Axol, we recognize that just as we manufacture human iPSCs with care and precision, we must also take care of our mental wellbeing. The world of science can be intense and oftentimes demanding, so it's crucial for all of us in the field to prioritize self-care and mental health. Remember, a healthy mind fuels innovation and breakthroughs in our work. So take time to recharge, connect with colleagues, and embrace the balance between work and wellbeing. Here’s to a month of renewal and connection as we move toward the end of the year! #MentalHealthAwareness #iPSCs #ScientificCommunity #WellBeing

As #WorldMentalHealthDay comes to a close, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on what it means to me. I've seen so many brands & businesses posting today, but how many are truly thinking about the actions they take to support mental health in the workplace, beyond the occasional mention? 🤔 Mental health isn’t just a one-day conversation. Workplaces have a duty to create environments where people feel supported, understood, and able to prioritise their wellbeing every single day, not just once a year. Over the last few years I have been on a journey of self-reflection to better understand how I can support my own mental health and wellbeing. I’ve learned that the key to protecting my own mental health comes down to a few simple but powerful habits: eating well 🥑 getting at least 5k steps in at one go 🏃♀️ spending quality time with my family 👨👦👦and soaking up some sunshine whenever I can☀️✈️ I think it's important to remember that mental health deserves more than just a passing mention on one day a year. Let’s actively create spaces for our teams where wellbeing is supported every day, but let's also take a moment to look inwards to understand what habits we can form that will help us get through the tough moments we all invariably encounter through this wild journey that's life 🎢 #WorldMentalHealthDay

Each year, on the 10th October, we observe World Mental Health Day to raise awareness of mental health challenges and to mobilise efforts in support of emotional wellbeing. It’s essential to acknowledge that emotional wellness is just as important as physical health, and reaching out for help is a sign of strength, not weakness. Unfortunately, the stigma around psychological struggles often prevents people from seeking the support they need, but it's crucial to overcome this and foster a culture of openness and understanding. At Igne, we are dedicated to raising awareness and offering assistance to those in need. Our mental health champions are here to support colleagues, friends, and family members who may be facing emotional difficulties or stress. To everyone within our Igne family, particularly this week, as we mourn the loss of our friend and colleague Jaymie, if you are ever feeling overwhelmed or struggling with your emotional health, please remember you are truly not alone. As well as our mental health champions, who are available to you any time, there are many resources and support systems available. Whether it’s talking to a trusted friend or family member, seeking therapy or counselling, or connecting with a professional, taking that first step to seek help is the beginning of recovery and healing. Remember, no one should face these challenges in isolation. There is always hope for a better tomorrow. Reach out, seek support, and prioritise your emotional wellbeing. Together, we can create an environment where mental and emotional health is valued and fully supported.
