Reflecting on an Incredible Year at McAvoy 🌟 As the year draws to a close, we're taking a moment to celebrate the milestones we've achieved together. Over the past 12 months, we are proud to have delivered a range of facilities that are making a real difference to the patients, staff, students and communities they serve. This year, we also embraced opportunities to give back by supporting charities and organising fundraising initiatives, further strengthening ties to the communities we work in and giving back in a time in need. A heartfelt thank you to our employees, customers and partners for your unwavering support throughout the year. We look forward to creating more positive change together in 2025! Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

I love people that do cool sh*t, especially when it’s not just a money making idea! Check out my friend's new nonprofit, After Party! After Party repurposes wedding & event florals to bring joy to shelters, hospitals, hospice, & more. Let's help reduce waste & spread love! If you have any vases or containers to donate, please reach out to Nora McCormack! Here's to supporting this amazing initiative! 🌺💐🥀🪻🪷🌹🌸 ********************************** “HI FRIENDS! I don't think I've mentioned it here yet, but for the next phase of my ongoing midlife crisis, I have started a nonprofit! World, meet After Party! After Party is a 501c3 that repurposes wedding & event florals to be enjoyed at shelters, hospitals, hospice, & other like organizations. You know where all of those flowers end up after weddings? In the trash. After 17 years in the wedding industry, I've become tired of seeing that amount of waste so I figured I'd try to do something about it! Inquiries have been coming in pretty consistently, which is promising! With that, I am asking for vase/vessel donations so that I can keep costs down. Jars (clean spaghetti sauce jars, pickle, mason, any & all!), old vases, & glass containers that can be used as bedside vases would be SO wonderful! If you are able to collect, I would be happy to pick up! Other items that I will gladly accept: 5 gallon buckets, milk crates, glass racks, & plastic totes. The website is still under construction, but if you felt compelled to donate (tax deductible donations! Huzzah!), please follow the link below. https://lnkd.in/eZc5wA6C Thank you for supporting this next leg of my ongoing psychological break-- I hope it's as successful as the last one! 🤣🥾🏕”

We can all help other people. "When you feel like you've got nothing... And if I am honest, we didn't think we needed support, probably my stubbornness, but we all need support in those difficult times. We can all help other people." Transitions can made or break us. While a change is an external event or situation, a transition is the internal psychological process that we are going through as we are navigating through this change. You might think "I've got this!" yet remember you don't have to "do it all" alone. Asking and accepting support is part of you ensuring you will make it through. And, most of the time, it's not just you who is affected by the change. There's your family, spouse, kids, parents, siblings, your friends, your community members. We can all help other people. Small ways can make a big impact. Thanks Sam Teale for making this video. #TheEngineerWhisperer

The saddest video we’ve ever made. Magic for Yorkshire Children's Charity, they raised 1 million pounds on Saturday night. 1 million. Take a watch of this and see how they help incredible families. So blessed this is our job♥️

If Black Friday is like a sugar rush, then #GivingTuesday is the soul food we all need! It's an opportunity to help clients swap temporary deals for a lasting legacy of generosity. So, how will you empower clients to maximize their charitable impact? Consider sharing these donor-advised fund strategies with your clients: 1️⃣ Contribute now and plan grants for later, ensuring a more consistent and strategic giving timeline 2️⃣ Encourage involvement from their friends and families through Guest Giving campaigns 3️⃣ Give beyond cash by contributing appreciated securities #philanthropy #givingseason #charitablegiving #donoradvisedfunds
