Everyone got the memo and showed OUT at TC-BEN’s Winter Social! 1920’s chic looks real good on ya’ll! I just loved getting to connect with so many amazing professionals. Our region is blessed with top talent! Hearing your stories, your goals, and your dreams was so inspiring. A HUGE thank you to Marla Etheridge and TC - BEN for creating this beautiful evening to bring us all together! People Of Color Career Fair™ was so proud to sponsor this event and to offer complimentary tickets to some amazing giveaway winners and their guests. Uh-huh. Go out here y'all. Don't give yourself a round of applause because we are looking good tonight. Let me start by thanking Marla and everybody that supports the Twin Cities Black Employee Network. Is so much strength and resilience in this room and I can feel it. Can you feel it? I can feel it because each one of us has incredible power and incredible leverage. By 2045, we will be a majority minority nation. Black. Latino. Asian and LGBTQ plus communities hold over $6 trillion in buying power. So let that sink in for a minute. Now, I believe the question we should all be asking is which companies are worthy of our talent? Which companies are worthy of our dollars? So let's enjoy this beautiful evening, but also let's leave here ready to do the work. Let's leave here committed, ready to show up, ready to die. Man better and do better, and not just for ourselves. Before the generations that come up behind us, I'm so proud of Marla. I love this organization. I am so grateful and honored and blessed that we were able to be able to sponsor it tonight. So I just want to say thank you and have a great night.
