July 27th, LONG TRACK RACE!!!! Yes, that's right, Saturday night the 27th we will be using BOTH SIDES so bring your walking shoes if you plan to crash, 😂🤣😁 This will be 7" specific so if you have a 7'incher you like to show off, this is the race for you! 🍆🌶 This is primarily a Street League points race. (The other half from the one we held during Mayhem earlier this year.) Depending on if enough people have them, we may also throw in a heat or two of the MultiGP Pro Spec 7'inchers, just know these won't be seeded into finals and won't get SL points from those heats. OR... We may run the entire SL race and then run some Pro Spec heats for fun afterward, again all depends on if we have enough folks wanting to do that, so here's your "Heads-Up". Why are we so excited about a task chair that ships "knocked down"(KD)? Traditionally, high-end task chairs ship fully assembled. KD allows us to fit 3x as many chairs in a truckload, reducing our carbon footprint and cost. Previously prohibitive extra time, money, and complexity to assemble is solved by Breck which assembles in 23(!) seconds and no tools. One of the many ways Breck is "smartly sustainable" and making sustainable options more accessible. Can Guinness World Records verify if this is the current WR?

As you might already know I am loyal supporter of the Brisbane Broncos since the early '90s. Like 100,000’s of others, I've witnessed the exhilarating highs of the 90s and 2000’s and just last year, the challenging lows, and every year in between, that come with being part of such a storied club. This season, despite all of OUR collective expectations, it didn’t unfold with a finals finish. However, I firmly believe that it’s in these challenging moments where true character and resilience are forged. The cartoon by Brett Lethbridge in today’s Sunday Mail while humourous, captures a moment of reflection that resonates deeply—not just for our players and coaches, but it should be for all of us who stand by this club. It’s easy to be disappointed when things don’t go our way, especially after the high of last year’s grand final. Yet, I choose to focus on the positives: the moments of joy, the lessons we've learned, the growth we've experienced, and the unwavering passion that continues to drive every member of the Broncos community. In both sports and life, success is rarely a straight line. It’s about how we adapt, learn, and come back stronger. I have no doubt that our team will use this season as an opportunity to reflect, regroup, and refocus on what it takes to climb back to the top. Let’s continue to support our team whether it be your family, friends or colleagues—not only in moments of triumph but also when our resolve is tested. After all, it’s resilience that separates the good from the great, and I firmly believe the Brisbane Broncos are destined for greatness. In 1954, Roger Bannister ran the very first sub 4-minute mile in the world. Once Bannister proved it could be done, it was only 46 days later that another runner broke it again...beating Bannister’s time. Just one year later, three runners broke the 4-minute barrier in the SAME race. Since then, more than 1,700 runners have broken a barrier that was once considered beyond reach. But it gets better... Before Bannister’s run, people believed that a 4-minute mile may only be possible in perfect conditions; perfect weather, on a particular kind of track, with the energy of a huge cheering crowd. But Bannister did it on a cold dreary day, on a wet track, in front of a small crowd. Do you think you have to have "perfect conditions" to go after your dream?
