We have BIG Valves! Throughout the years, we've run into a growing misconception about our inventory on large diameter ball & butterfly valves. While in the early days we did have a more limited size offering, that has not been a concern for some time! What sizes do we stock? - Flanged Ball Valves Up to 8" in Stock - Segmented Ball Valves Up to 10" in Stock - Multiport Ball Valves Up to 8" in Stock - Resilient Seated BFVs Up to 36" in Stock - High Performance BFVs Up to 30" in Stock - Control BFVs Up to 12" in Stock Here to help illustrate is our friendly well organized receiving manager. He has pulled a few valves from stock to illustrate. Let's find out the truth about our large diameter valve inventory!

Three way ball valve A three-way ball valve is a type of valve used to regulate the flow of liquids or gases in three different directions. It has three ports: one inlet and two outlets. By rotating a handle, a ball inside the valve can be positioned to either block or allow flow between any of the three ports. There are two main types of three-way ball valves: L-port and T-port. L-port valves have one inlet port and two outlet ports that are perpendicular to each other. They are typically used for applications where the flow needs to be diverted from one outlet to the other. T-port valves have one inlet port and two outlet ports that are in a straight line. They can be used for applications where the flow needs to be mixed or combined from two sources, or diverted from a single source to one of two outlets. Severe Service & Dirty Service Quarter Turn Ball Valves - Global Supply Line’s manufacturers and Australian Pipeline Valve can supply unique alternatives to conventional ball valves. The problem with conventional ball valves whether they be soft seated or metal seated is that their life is reduced by the fact that entrained particulates/debris are scrapped across the ball through the full 90º motion of the ball, this also significantly increases the torque requiring a larger actuator and can cause sticking and jamming. In addition this increases the likelihood of damage to the seating area and also eventually damages even the hardest coatings. Read the full article here https://lnkd.in/gZbWmrNx
