📊 How did Carter County Schools in Tennessee raise its ACT composite score by 1.7 points in one school year? The district first held MasteryPrep Boot Camps—high-impact, strategy-focused workshops that address essential test-taking strategies—and saw immediate improvements. After this was recognized at a district level, Carter County Schools decided to implement MasteryPrep's end-to-end test-prep solution across four high schools. "It takes year-round dedication among our administrators, teachers, and students," says Tyler Chambers, the school's ACT and High School Curriculum Coordinator. "Our commitment to investment, focus, and dedication are all showing results.” Read the full story on our blog: https://bit.ly/4iBn4Sd

“ለምን ጎበዝ ተማሪዎች ፈተና ወደቁ?” - a common rumor these days. A pass or fail decision from high-stakes exams, like university entry, exit, and licensing, should be backed by evidence showing their decisions are valid. In this paper, we assessed the relationship between anesthetists’ university grades and their licensing exam scores to assess the exam’s validity. To target student support and improve pass rates, we also estimated university grades that predict failing the licensing exam. I believe, our approaches could shed light on validating the university entrance exam, which has a shockingly low 5.4% pass rate. Enjoy reading and I look forward to your thoughts. Did you see this recent article in The Wall Street Journal? It’s wild to think that families are working with consultants as early as elementary school and paying anywhere from $30K to $200K to help their kids get into top-tier schools like Harvard University. While getting into a prestigious university is a dream for many, are these extreme measures really the best approach? At College Planning Advisors, we believe in a more grounded, personalized approach. Our goal is to help students succeed by working with them throughout their high school years—not in grade school. We don’t think an 11-year-old should be worried about building a college résumé. Let them enjoy their childhood! And unlike some of these high-cost consultants, our services are affordable and designed to be accessible to families. For less than $4,000, we offer four years of tailored support for high school students, helping them navigate the entire college admissions process—from choosing the right schools to applying for scholarships. And yes, this includes prestigious institutions like Harvard and other Ivy League schools. So if you're looking for thoughtful, practical guidance that doesn’t break the bank, let's connect! At College Planning Advisors, we help students get into amazing schools without the stress—and without the price tag of a luxury service. #CollegeAdmissions #HigherEducation #IvyLeague #CollegePlanning #StudentSuccess

Eguh Nnamdi's Nugget Dated: 10:06:024 Topic: CATALYSTS OF FAVOURS Word: Proverbs 22:6 NLT Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it. Here's My Take: CATALYST(As A Teacher): A catalyst teacher is one that'll guide your wards and ensure that they find their routes in their academic journey. A teacher can alter a child's destiny and a teacher can also be an instrument to align a child's destiny too. One of the things that have helped so many children locate their Destinies, area of future concentration, is because they had good teachers around them. Catalytic Teachers are pillars of support for the progress of our children. Their presence in their lives will helped them to find their feet and walk in the right routes. Catalytic Teachers have the ability to tell what field of study a particular child should embark on and become Extraordinary, more than that child's parents. Because their interactions with the pupils, coupled with the pupils performances will help them give a clue. Aside God, whom all knowledge comes from, the destiny of any child is highly dependent on his/her teachers, then his/her parents. Conclusion: Catalytic Teachers didn't join teaching because they couldn't find other better paying jobs to do, they teach because that's their life(passion). And they teach with all that they got. Song: All Your ways are good All Your ways are sure I will trust in You alone Higher than my side High above my life I will trust in You alone Where You go, I'll go Where You stay, I'll stay When You move, I'll move I will follow You Who You love, I'll love How You serve I'll serve If this life I lose, I will follow You I will follow You Prayer: Father help us to locate the right tutor for our children in Jesus name.
