In Attleboro’s Transformative Development Initiative (TDI) district, a blighted former mill and manufacturing facility has been converted by developer Jonathan Cozzens into The Jewel, featuring 43 new apartments. MassDevelopment was pleased to assist by partnering with HarborOne Bank to deliver $11.3 million in loan financing for this project!
I love walking past this building as well as the Union theater, also in the 1st photo. So many exciting things coming to this city.
Stunning work on this building. As Catherine Feerick knows as well, this building was a total mess when they started, major holes in the floor, etc. So pumped for you Jonathan Cozzens!
Wonderful! Are community gathering spaces being incorporated into projects like this? Many neighborhoods around Massachusetts have a lack of places for people to gather for programming or casual get togethers.
Well done
Congrats Jonathan and team! Beautiful work
Congrats!
Building better places through development of affordable, sustainable housing
1moSo great to see the Commonwealth's Gateway Cities get capital and attention! They have an important role to play in crafting solutions to our most pressing issues, notably housing and neighborhood-building.
