It is an interesting observation and not least important to bear in mind that the world of beverage looks quite different from just a few years ago. The impact of the healthy lifestyle trend on the long-term demand for low/no-alcohol beverages is significant. Consumers who are health-conscious and actively seeking low/no-alcohol products and low-calorie refreshment alternatives are driving the demand for these beverages. Breweries and beverage manufacturers are responding to the healthy lifestyle trend by developing and launching lower/no-alcohol versions of their products to better align with consumer health concerns, the desire for healthier lifestyles, and the preference for organic ingredients. But is it enough just to line extension with a 0.0% variant or will the product be sat in the corner by new fresh, skilled, and innovative producers? As a result of that Not going out wave, due to high inflation, rising consumer prices etc. : The home is generally a relaxed environment where beverage consumption has a strong comfort component. Moreover, drinking at home provides a sense of relaxation and familiarity that is not available when among strangers. The home environment is also ideal for experimentation with different alcoholic beverages that consumers may not have otherwise engaged with outside the comfort of their own homes. If this trend continues, the industry must show an even greater creativity and innovation to stay relevant in the future. To be relevant in the future, you have to look directly into the eyes of your NPD department and ask the question: "Do we have products for the consumer of the future" - if not, then you are in the process of liquidating your company and relevance in market.
