The author Mo Willems has said, 'If you ever find yourself in the wrong story, leave.' Working out that we are in the wrong story often means deconstructing the narratives that give meaning to your life. In this episode of Defining Stories, Shona beautifully describes how she took the time to work out what parts of a narrative she wanted to keep and which parts she wanted to leave. The ability to deconstruct a story we may have inherited our assumed was right for us can support us in understanding how to live a more authentic life.
