The whole supply chain plays an important role on having sustainable food products. From using renewable energy by companies in their daily operations, such as installation of solar panels, using biodegistors to convert waste organic materials from own operations into biogas and biofertelizers. Packaging, such as fully recycled, compostable packaging, eco-friendly packaging with PET or HDPE plastic or cellulose-based materials. Sustainable sourcing, raw materials that have been also produce on a sustainable way, for example using organic fertilizer and with a balanced use of pesticides. And finally our diets, having a balance diet where products are enriched of nutrients and vitamins that will allow the consumer use reasonable portions. We all play an important role, being interconnected with all the players of the supply chain is fundamental and also being always transparent to consumer on what they are buying. #farm2fork #sustainablefood
