All good things come in threes. Poland, Portugal in 2023 and now the Baltic countries. We finalized the 3rd phase of our Business Development project in Europe, by the completion of the transfer of #Nissan operations to Bassadone Automotive Nordic Oy in 3 Baltic countries: Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. After Poland and Portugal, this 3rd phase was an important milestone for us, in line with our distribution strategy in Europe, for sustainable growth that entails #rationalization of our business as well as #prioritization and focus, to transform the corporation into a leaner and more agile company. This partnership with Bassadone Automotive Nordic Oy will ensure the continued success of the #Nissan business in the Baltic countries, improve market focus and agility, and better serve the needs of the company's customers and retail partners. Thank you Antti Ruhanen and all our teams for the efforts during this project. Now, Independent Markets Team #INSC is in charge of 32 countries with 15 strong partners, reaching the level of 55k+ units in FY23. #Success #Transformation #BusinessDevelopment #Distribution

再见 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝘆𝗲 𝗯𝘆𝗲! ✈️ - 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝟯 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗮 After 3 months on a work project for Mercedes-Benz Management Consulting (Mercedes-Benz AG) in Beijing, China 🇨🇳 it is time for me to say goodbye and return to Germany 🇩🇪 This project has been an incredibly valuable experience, both personally and professionally. Here are some of my key takeaways: 🚙 𝟭. 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀: Being in China allowed me to experience competitor vehicles firsthand and better understand industry trends, especially the strong focus on infotainment. 🗣️ 𝟮. If you look at the current political and economic situation in Germany and France, you realize how much of a “national belly button show” (nationale Bauchnabelschau) is taking place in both countries: the budget discussion in France and the ongoing debate on the state of the coalition in Germany. At the same time both economies are slowing down and losing competitiveness. The economical outlook in both countries is deteriorating. As a consequence, it is all too easy to forget how important the economic success of the two largest economies in Europe is for our European neighbors around us. This can be illustrated very well by the example of the Volkswagen group in Slovakia. 💡 Did you know that Volkswagen Slovakia accounts for approx. 10% of the Slovakian GDP? Add to that all the Tier1, 2 and 3 suppliers and sub-suppliers and the figure will even grow bigger. ➡️ What responsibility does this entail on the part of Volkswagen (Sovakia)? ➡️ How closely the German economy is linked to many (Eastern) European economies and hence countries? ➡️ Why a strong German economy paired with a strong local economy in the hosting country is an essential prerequisite for the economic success, prosperity and social welfare of many of our European neighbours? This is why the German Chambers of Commerce Abroad (AHK) work continously on establishing and strengthening the commercial relations between the German economy and German affiliated companies with the local economy in our guest countries. And this is why the work of my fellow colleague Marco Trisciuzzi at AHK Slowakei (German-Slovak Chamber of Commerce) is important. Handel gibt es nur zu Zweien. In Slovakia, in France, in Germany and everywhere else in Europe.
🚗 AHK Slowakei Meets with Volkswagen Slovakia 🚗 Our Managing Director Marco Trisciuzzi had the opportunity to visit our member Volkswagen Slovakia for a productive exchange. The board members from Volkswagen Slovakia, Wolfram Kirchert, Agnieszka Olenderek and Kai-Stefan Linnenkohl, presented the importance and contribution of the company for Slovakia and the Volkswagen Group itself, with an emphasis on the development of a competitive business environment in Slovakia. Volkswagen Slovakia has been a reliable and responsible partner of the country and thousands of employees for more than 33 years, while being the largest private employer in Slovakia. In return, the AHK Managing Director presented the extensive network of Deutsche Auslandshandelskammern (AHK), emphasizing how it connects businesses across borders and fosters opportunities for collaboration between Slovak 🇸🇰 and German 🇩🇪 companies. The visit provided valuable insights into car manufacturing, innovation, and further opportunities for cooperation. We look forward to continuing to strengthen our close partnership with Volkswagen Slovakia and contributing to the growth of the Slovak economy. #PartnerForSuccess #Volkswagen #AHKNetwork #Automotive #GermanSlovakCommunity

Japan's rich history and culture have shaped a legacy of precision and excellence. They swing to a different beat. They have their own standards. How something is made in Japan is just as important as what is made. Which in turn has meant they’re a nation rich in technical knowledge and know-how. They really are detail obsessed, focussed and long-term. The Japanese value quality above all else—often expressed through subtle gestures of approval. A nod of subtle compliment is almost like receiving the highest form of praise. Therefore, when one receives an Appreciation Award from the largest commercial vehicle company Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC), it puts us in a different orbit. It confirms our belief in what we do, how we do and why we do. Here's to celebrating our business beliefs of resilience, detail obsessed, staying focused on delivery and business impact. #EngineeringExcellence #DigitalExperience #GrowthMindset #QualityFocussed #GlobalExpansion #CubastionGrowth #Cubastion

Exciting Times for New Automotive Brands in Europe! As the primary contact at Autovista Group for emerging car manufacturers breaking into the European market, I have witnessed an incredible uptick in new entrants. Every day, I engage with representatives from China, but also from Vietnam, Turkey and of course the USA, and I have to say that the exchange of insights is truly enriching. It's great fun to learn from each other! However, a common misconception I often encounter is the perception of Europe as a single market. Despite harmonisation efforts, Europe comprises 44 distinct countries, each with its own unique cultural, economic, regulatory, and consumer landscape, that all need their own market entry strategies. Take, for instance, Europe's vast geography, ranging from Scandinavia to the Mediterranean and the UK to Russia, resulting in diverse climates and driving conditions that significantly shape consumer automotive preferences. This wide variation of consumer tastes, also impacts preferences for car size, fuel efficiency, brand perception, and – of course - price sensitivity for both new and used cars. Moreover, distribution channels vary, spanning dealership networks to online platforms, while infrastructure and language diversity add further layers of complexity. And of course each European country has its own distinct traditions and preferences. Germans prioritise engineering excellence and reliability, while Italians lean towards style and performance for example. Navigating through distinct regulations on import tariffs and taxation remains a challenge across European countries. And finally, the European automotive market is fiercely competitive, with strong domestic and international brands striving for market share. To succeed in this dynamic landscape, tailored strategies adapted to local dynamics are crucial. Understanding country-specific competition and leveraging data-driven insights are paramount. At Autovista Group, we offer extensive automotive data across 20 European markets and Australia, coupled with market knowledge and experience, providing a powerful benefit for new entrants. If your new brand is ready for a jump start, please do not hesitate to reach out! 🌟 #Autovista24 #Automotive #Europe #MarketEntry #NewBrands #DataDrivenSuccess #BYD #Denza #Yangwang #Changan #Deepal #Chery #Omoda #Jaecoo #Dongfeng #Voyah #FAWGroup #Hongqi #Geely #GuanzhouAuto #Aion #Skywell #Leapmotor #LiAuto #Nio #Alps #Firefly #Saic #MG #Maxus #IM #Xpeng #Izera #Fisker #Lucid #Rivian #Vinfast #Togg
