Position: Manager Company: Hospitality Salary: 300k - 500k per month Working type: Onsite Working schedule: shifts (3pm to 12pm) Years of Experience: 5+ Requirements: 1) Leadership and Team Management -Leadership Skills: Ability to inspire, motivate, and lead a diverse team towards achieving business goals. -Team Development: Skills in training, mentoring, and developing staff to enhance their skills and performance. -Conflict Resolution: Proficiency in managing and resolving conflicts among staff and between staff and customers. 2) Business Acumen -Financial Management: Understanding of budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis to maximize profitability. -Strategic Planning: Ability to develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and efficiency. -Market Awareness: Knowledge of industry trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape. 3) Operational Efficiency -Resource Management: Efficient management of inventory, supplies, and equipment to minimize waste and cost. -Process Improvement: Ability to streamline operations, improve processes, and implement best practices for optimal performance. -Crisis Management: Skills in handling emergencies and unexpected situations effectively. 4) Customer Focus -Customer Service Excellence: Commitment to providing outstanding customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction. -Customer Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business. -Feedback Utilization: Using customer feedback to make continuous improvements to services and offerings. 5) Technical Proficiency -POS Systems: Proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) systems and other relevant software for managing operations. -Health and Safety Regulations: Comprehensive knowledge of health, safety, and food hygiene standards to ensure compliance and safety. Communication and Interpersonal Skills -Effective Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with staff, customers, and vendors. -Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate contracts, agreements, and resolve issues with suppliers and other stakeholders. -Multitasking: Capability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. 6) Personal Attributes -Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure high standards of quality in all aspects of the business. -Adaptability: Flexibility and resilience to adapt to changing circumstances and handle stress effectively. -Integrity and Accountability: High ethical standards and accountability for actions and decisions. What's the craziest or funniest thing you've ever done in search of a job? I'll share mine first: I remember printing out my CV and heading to Apapa Mall in Lagos, going store to store and asking if they had any openings. But the funniest moment was when I spotted a guy eating in his car at Shoprite Apapa Mall. With a desperate look, I knocked on his window, and he reluctantly rolled it down.
