As a part of the HR and TA team for an extended period, I've noticed a reluctance to hire individuals who frequently change roles, solely aiming for a higher salary. However, we're interested in connecting with professionals on LinkedIn who possess 10 years of experience, have changed jobs 10 times, and are currently excelling in corporate positions. I'd love to connect. Job hopping might lead to immediate financial gains, but it may not always align with long-term career objectives. Stability and longevity in a role or organization can also be important factors in career progression. While you may earn £90k/£100k by your 30's or 40's through job hopping, your mental health and personal life may suffer due to instability and constant pursuit of monetary gains. It's essential to prioritize stability and seek fulfilment beyond monetary rewards instead of continually changing jobs in hopes of reaching a certain level. #jobhoping #myth #payrise #recruiter #Thursdaythoughts

The average promotion pay increase: 5% The average job move pay increase: 15% If you got a 5% pay rise every year through your twenties, a £24,000 starting salary would be £39k by the time you’re 30. If you instead managed to change jobs every year, that same £24,000 would be *£97,000*. And people are confused by the trend of young people regularly changing jobs?
