Despite having a company with a turnover of 1500 crores I fall under the 25% people who have a work-life balance. I have found that prioritising time for myself and my loved ones is essential for my overall well-being and, surprisingly, the success of my business. While the specific details of your situation may vary, I hope that my experience resonates with you and inspires you to find what works best for achieving your own work-life balance. In my 7 years of career, this is how I have successfully maintained a work-life balance : 1️⃣ Deep work: I make sure to block off dedicated time for deep, focused work in the mornings. When I'm at the factory from around 9:30- a.m. to 6:30 p.m., work is all I focus on. There are no distractions or interruptions. During this deep work time, I can be incredibly productive, proactively driving progress on key business priorities. 2️⃣ Taking fixed breaks: While I spend most of my factory time heads-down on work, I also make sure to finish work and clock out no later than 6:30 p.m. or 7:00 p.m.. This consistent stopping time allows me to disconnect and give my personal life the attention it deserves. Unless there is a true emergency, work takes a backseat outside of core hours. 3️⃣ Daily non-negotiables: On top of protecting personal time in the evenings, I also have some daily non-negotiables, no matter how busy work gets. Whether it's getting in a workout, spending time with my family, or pursuing a hobby, I block off time for my physical and mental wellbeing. Work is a priority, but it cannot come at the expense of everything else. In all honesty, I never sought a work-life balance. I was always seeking a life that worked. This makes the time I do spend working more impactful while ensuring I don't neglect other facets of my life. My productivity, mental health, and relationships have all thrived with this kind of structure. Out of 10, how much would you rate your work-life balance? #worklifebalance #entrepreuneur

How do you balance work and personal life? What kind of boundaries do you have in place? While everyone may not agree, I believe it’s important to have clear boundaries between work and personal life. If you’re working 18-hour days, it will impact your health. Studies have shown those who work 55 hours or more per week have a 1.3 times higher risk of stroke than those who work standard hours. Poor work-life balance also increases your risk of cardiovascular disease and mental health issues like depression and anxiety. Sometimes, setting those boundaries and achieving that balance can be challenging, but you should find ways that work for you to separate work and personal life. One of the biggest things that has helped me is creating a set schedule, mainly when leaving for work in the morning. I have a designated time to leave my house to get to work at a decent time and have a productive day. I’ve found that productive days allow me to have more time for family, friends, and other activities I enjoy in the evening. #worklifebalance #boundaries #wellness #coworkingspace #productivity
