Participating in a hackathon at LPU can be an exhilarating experience. Here are some thoughts to keep in mind: **Team Formation**: Choose your team wisely. Look for diverse skill sets that complement each other. **Idea Generation**: Brainstorm unique and innovative ideas. Think about real-world problems that you can solve with technology. **Time Management**: Plan your time effectively. Break down your tasks into smaller chunks and allocate time for each. **Feedback Loop**: Be open to feedback from mentors and other participants. Use it to iterate and improve your project. **Presentation Skills**: Practice your pitch. Clearly articulate the problem, your solution, and the impact it can have. **Stay Energized**: Take breaks, stay hydrated, and don't forget to eat. It's a marathon, not a sprint. **Have Fun**: Enjoy the process! Hackathons are a great opportunity to learn, network, and showcase your skills.

✍️Defining the problem statements for your hackathon can be a complex task. ⚠️As they say: “trash in, trash out”: if you provide a vague problem statement description there’s a high chance you will receive hackathon ideas and solutions that will not be aligned with your hackathon purpose. 📃The problem statement description must not be too long to avoid discouraging the idea proposals, but also can’t be too short, preventing the participants from receiving key information to work on. 💚So, we wrote this article for you to take some inspiration from real hackathons when writing your hackathon problem statement: https://lnkd.in/dt9KiE9S Have a good read! #pristinetuesdays #hackathons #problemstatements

This is how we build at hackathons 🔥🤯 Yesterday, after a long time, I participated in a hackathon. ps: I’m bored of the usual problem statements that come up at hackathons. They don’t feel overwhelming or exciting to build anymore, which is why I’ve stopped attending them frequently—there’s no point in repeating the same thing and learning nothing new. We built an event management system: Step 1: Brainstorm, think of priority features, and write down everything you feel is important. Step 2: Product roadmap and task assignment—this is the most important part. Step 3: Work on unique features after building the priority ones. Step 4: Prepare the pitch. Step 5: Seek feedback and iterate. We qualified the hackathon by coming into top 8 teams out of 80+ teams and stay tuned for rd2 of international level hackathon :) Had fun working w Sharvin Gavad Sheldon Chettiar Neston Cabral
