Storage tanks empty in November and good to go for the winter! We've wrapped up fall #LysteGro Class A land application over the last couple of weeks for both our Michigan customers - Commerce Township and the South Huron Valley Utility Authority - leaving our utility partners and agricultural customers happy! LysteGro volume reductions now leave South Huron comfortable to get through the winter months without another fall application event required and Commerce has more than a year's storage capacity again. These efficiencies ensure operational security, lower the utility's carbon footprint, divert valuable resources from landfill, and provide cost savings. #LysteGro #Sustainable #Lystek

Grass cutting and vegetation management are critical tasks in maintaining a solar power plant or park. At Inspire Clean Energy, we are committed to making these processes easier and more efficient. Introducing TrancoBot RF, an upgraded version of our TrancoBot. The earlier model faced challenges when operating over large acres and varied terrains and soils. Our dedicated xenectra team has developed the RF-controlled bot, which offers improved maneuverability, allowing us to reach all locations in the field with ease. This innovation ensures high-quality vegetation management while keeping our team and assets safe. I recently had the opportunity to test TrancoBot RF at one of our sites. The results were impressive, showcasing its capability to handle the complex demands of our solar parks.Check out the attached videos to see TrancoBot RF in action! 🎥 #SolarEnergy #Innovation #Sustainability #VegetationManagement #InspireCleanEnergy #Xenectra

Producing Renewable Energy should coexistence with nature instead of destroy earth minerals or plants.
Part 2 My job is quite simple. Understand how the existing system works, what it delivers and listen to what the customer really wants in the end. Everything in between is the troublesome part. I have learned to think outside the box. The moment the end result is there, you must be able to calculate backwards and see which parameters come into play. Solve the task. This is part 2 of the Borneo journey. We now have 30 days to come up with a solution. Then price and ultimately perhaps export. What is special about this assignment is that it applies to all hydrodams throughout the world. Think if we can really do what we say we can. Then the fields will again be usable for arable farming and agriculture and not just solar cells which really do not work more than 3 hours a day and only 200 days a year. Enjoy #Togetherwecan #Greenenergy #betterworld #savetheenviroment

🚚 World’s First Fully Electric Timber Truck with Crane Hits the Roads! 🌲 In a significant development for the forestry industry, the world’s first fully electric logging truck equipped with a crane has officially hit the roads in Sweden. This innovative vehicle marks a significant step towards decarbonising the forest-to-terminal transport process, which is crucial for achieving sustainability goals. 🔎 What You Need to Know: 1️⃣ A Game Changer for Sustainability: Developed through a collaboration between Scania and SCA, this 80-tonne electric truck is designed to collect timber directly from the forest and transport it to terminals. Ulf Larsson, CEO of SCA, emphasises the project's importance in contributing to a more sustainable society by reducing the carbon footprint of timber transport. 2️⃣ Addressing Transport Emissions: Road freight accounts for 83% of total transport emissions, so the push to electrify logging operations is critical. The new truck is part of the TREE project, which aims for 50% of the forestry industry's new trucks to be fully electric by 2030. Each electric truck could reduce emissions by approximately 170 tons annually. 3️⃣ Overcoming Challenges: While this new technology is promising, challenges remain. Ulf Larsson highlights the need for more charging infrastructure, improved power grids, and flexible working time regulations to facilitate the transition to electrification in heavy transport. 🔗 To learn more about this exciting development in the timber industry, click here: https://lnkd.in/gQDqpJCK 🗣️ #questionforgroup: How can the forestry industry further leverage technology to enhance sustainability in timber transport? Exciting News from Warrego Dalby, Australia! We are thrilled to share that our agri-processing factory in Dalby is making a significant leap towards #sustainability! We have increased our solar capacity by 250 kW, bringing the total to 350 kW. This expansion is set to have positive impact in the following areas: 🌱 CO2 Emission Reduction: With this increase, we will be saving an impressive 372 tons of CO2 emissions annually. To put that into perspective, this is equivalent to planting approximately 17,000 trees! 💡 Energy Efficiency: Once completed, this enhanced solar capacity will cover around 70% of our electrical costs for operating the plant, and reinforces our commitment to both environmental stewardship and operational efficiency. We are dedicated to finding sustainable solutions that benefit both the environment and our business, and this solar expansion is part of our ongoing efforts to reduce #carbonfootprint and utilise #renewableenergy. Thank you to our incredible team in Dalby for making this vision a reality. Our facility in Warrego handles a range of operations – from receiving, storing, grading, packing, and dispatching of #grains and #pulses. #Sustainability #RenewableEnergy #SolarPower #CO2Reduction #GreenInitiatives #EnvironmentalImpact #AgriCommodity #CorporateResponsibility

It is very very simple to manage the surface run-off very locally. Here is an example . The water falling on the land is diverted through the trenches into recharge wells and farm ponds . Desilting chambers are made at regular intervals to check for silting and flow velocity . Given it is mostly an agricultural land , the entire run off is captured and either used directly or recharged into the ground . The farm ponds and trenches can also be designed like wetlands to attract bio diversity. These are very simple solutions that can be implemented with local labour and with very very little technical knowledge. (In fact, I have visited many many sites as a technical resource person and have ended up learning from the local people than actually providing any technical solutions). In my opinion , Decentralisation is the first and the most important step towards decarbonisation . I feel we have many solutions available. we just have to put it in practice. We tend to over romaticize #sustainability and #technology . Simple , doable solutions get shadowed in the conundrum of fancy conferences , purported exclusive knowledge and Jargons . #netzero, #grosszero , #netnegative etc were practiced much before these fancy names were invented ...

🌍 🌿 Exciting News from Hanley Controls! 🌿🌍 We're thrilled to announce that Hanley Controls has a new small truck! This little truck is a big deal because it helps us use less fuel and reduces our impact on the environment. Instead of using a big truck for deliveries (and only filling it halfway), we now have a smaller truck and that means using less fuel and producing fewer emissions, making our operations greener. At Hanley Controls, we care a lot about the environment. We've been busy doing other green things too: 🌳 Planting Trees: Last year, we planted over 150 trees to help the planet breathe better. ☀️ Using Solar Power: We installed solar panels on our building to use clean energy from the sun. 🐝 Keeping Bees: We have beehives to help bees thrive and pollinate plants. These are just a few ways we're working to protect our planet. We believe that by making small changes, we can make a big difference. Thanks to everyone who's supporting us on our green journey! #HanleyControls #GreenEfforts #SustainableLiving 🌍💚
