Otto Pfannenberg’s main focus in the first years of his business was the development and assembly of electrical enclosures which became more and more widespread throughout production facilities at that time. But one problem was evident: the #overheating of electrical components in those control cabinets. ♨️ So he searched for ways to counter this issue and with the development of the first Filterfan in 1958, he presented a groundbreaking solution. At a time when Germany’s production facilities were in full swing, Otto Pfannenberg’s #invention prevented industrial progress from overheating. 💡The design of the 1st generation Pfannenberg Filterfan was simple but clever: it combines robustness with effectiveness. Built in a metal housing, they were either mounted on the roof or on the side of the control cabinet. A filter cloth prevented dust particles from reaching the inside of the enclosure with the airflow. 💡 From generation to generation, our esteemed engineers have been working on the continuous technological development of #Pfannenberg filterfan products. The Lighthouse Wester-Schouwen in the town Burg-Haamstede in The Netherland needed renovation for the old fashion light bulb. Build in 1837 the Wester-Schouwen Lighthouse is the highest lighthouse in the Netherlands with 58 Meter above sea level and one of Europe’s brightest lighthouses at night with a range of 30NM or 5.200.000 Candela. ITO Navaids solution was to place the IN600 LED retro fit solution. By using the existing Fresnel Lens the lighthouse can keep his historic optics. The IN600 has proven himself in multiple lighthouses across the Netherlands. Changing the old gas discharge lamp for the IN600 LED saves approx 1.725Watt. Maintenance costs are reduced to almost zero as there is no need anymore for changing the gas discharge lamp every 1000hours. The IN600 LED have a lifetime of approx. 80.000Hours.
