From PAUL JASON's wonderful PGRI magazine May/June 2024 issue, LottoResearch was asked to investigate whether the key Lottery brands, notably Powerball, Mega Millions and State Lotteries, are still top of mind in the eyes of the American consumer. With a focus on unaided awareness, the results are incredibly mixed. In states with iLottery, but also heavy competition from sports betting, online casinos et al, we see unaided awareness for Powerball as low as 9% (say hello Pennsylvania and Michigan), to highs in the the 27% and above range for D.C., Wisconsin and Rhode Island. Powerball is ahead nationally in gaming for being 'top of mind', but the likes of DraftKings Inc. and FanDuel are on the rise. Reflecting on 2023 (a bit late I know), it's clear it was a phenomenal year for WackyJacky101 on the business front. We've had the privilege of collaborating with industry giants and participating in projects I never could imagine. Notably, our partnerships with names like PUBG, Krafton, Aston Martin, BBC Top Gear and SteelSeries, to mention just a few. A highlight for us was the WackyJacky101 skin bundle in PUBG, a testament to our dedication to the gaming community. But it wasn't all virtual; the thrill of driving on the Silverstone circuit alongside Formula1 Champion Damon Hill was a surreal experience that combined Henriks passions for speed, precision and excellence. Our journey also led us to one of the heart of technological and sporting excellence - visiting the F1 Mercedes factory and the esports organization in the UK, with our partner SteelSeries. These experiences not only broadened our horizons but also deepened our appreciation for the intricate blend of technology, gaming and competitive sports. The esports arena was another domain where we left our mark, attending several major tournaments worldwide as content creator, host, speciel guest etc. These events were not just about witnessing competitive gaming but also about understanding the evolving landscape of digital entertainment and community engagement. One of the most rewarding experiences was hosting a community meetup in Berlin with PUBG. It was a vivid reminder of the power of community and the unifying love for gaming that transcends borders. As we stand at this juncture, it's tempting to think we've reached the pinnacle of our business journey. However, the question remains - have we really? Or is this just the beginning of exploring uncharted territories and scaling new heights?
