*Dinner Table Syndrome* It’s Christmas party season which can often be a difficult time for your deaf colleagues. Dinner Party Syndrome is a term used to describe the social challenges that deaf or hard of hearing individuals experience during group gathering such as around a dinner table. Supporting your colleagues involves creating an inclusive culture where they can participate fully in conversations, games or speeches.
