Today’s win! #WaterReuse Lately, I had been thinking to search on how to save waste water from my water filter. Today, I saw this plastic water dispenser lying at our home. Just a simple step: put the waste water pipe into the dispenser. And voila! I had half-bucket water in just few hours. I am glad that I can re-use it tomorrow when we have water closure due to repair. Now, I will explore more on how to store it for enabling re-use for daily cleaning activities. As a next step, this water can also be used for cleaning milk packets before disposing them into the dry waste bin. #LongWayToGo! Share one idea that you implemented in your household! Earth Day - Afterthoughts (introspection) Now that the euphoria of Earth Day is behind us, let's ask ourselves some questions. Whenever possible, 1. Do I walk instead of drive? 2. Do I use public transport instead of taking out my car? 3. Do I take the stairs instead of using the lift? 4. Do I turn off the tap while brushing my teeth? 5. Do I turn off the shower while applying soap on my body? 6. Do I wait to get potable drinking water before ordering a plastic bottle? 7. Do I buy ONLY what I need instead of buying what I want? 8. Do I segregate waste generated by me and put it in the right bin? 9.
