There seems to be a growing sense of positivity in the housing market with a lot of activity around the £500k-£1m and even these trophy homes are starting to sell. Broker colleagues we speak to regularly have never seen a busier September-October and resi mortgage applications are plentiful. Many people keep banging on about the potential pitfalls of the imminent budget but there seems little evidence that it’s going to be particularly onerous so can we all just get back into investing in bricks and mortar and remember people will always need places to live and that this government is actively trying to create the atmosphere to build much needed new homes. #budgetschmudget #investinproperty #buildmorehomes
