The weekend is nearly here, and more party's to attend.
What are your "may as well" food and drinks?
These are food and drinks that you would never normally eat or drink but over Christmas you use the excuse, "well it is Christmas, may as well"
Strawberry creams, crisps and dips, pork pies, creamy, syrupy cocktails and liquers.
Just be mindful that every may as well food will play havoc with your blood sugar, dehydrate your body and zap your energy levels. Not to mention the weight gain.
Be kind to your mind and body and value the things you really want, don't pick at all Aunty Sues high carb, high sugar chocolates just because they are there.
Its not about will power, its about thinking what you really want and like. It's easy to go on a chocolate eating frenzy but that's because they are full of additives to make you addicted to them. Do they actually satisfy your tastebuds? Do they really taste that nice?
Buy low sugar, high quality alcohol and chocolates, savour the tastes, cook from scratch, bake your own snacks and treats. Subscribe to my newsletter and receive more tips and your own Christmas survival hacks and recipe ebooks

4wA good oatmeal raisin cookie is seriously one of the best cookies. Though it has to be a good one. They get a bad wrap because people don't do them right 😆
