📢 Last month, Plan Vivo's Accelerator officially launched, welcoming 8 projects across Asia and Africa to our online training, mentorship and carbon direct support programmes. 📕 Our accelerator provides tailored support for projects developing their PDDs with Plan Vivo, and successful projects will gain access to funding towards validation and connections with financiers. 🌱 Working to bring the accelerator from concept to launch over the last 10 months has been interesting and great fun - and I look forward to seeing the cohort progress over the next 6 months, and have positive impact for nature, climate and communities. ➡️ Interested in applying for cohort two? We are very happy to be part of the Plan Vivo Foundation family. ➡ Plan Vivo just announced they are piloting a pioneering “Accelerator” program which will start in October and be delivered in partnership with Terranomics. ⚡⚡The Accelerator aims to address potential barriers arising when projects migrate to, or look to achieve certification under the updated Plan Vivo Carbon Standard (PV Climate V5). It is hoped that by addressing these barriers we can  increase the number of high-quality, community-led #carbon projects entering the Voluntary Carbon Market. We are looking forward to being among the first programs to become future-proof in a changing global #carbonmarket.     And can you also guess which lady that is on the announcement photo? This is ibu Risti ,a very strong and smart farmer participant in the Gula Gula Forest Programs in Nagari Sirukam. Most of our #agroforestry plots there are governed by female farmers as the society is matriarchal. Women own the land and have the highest decision-making power. And the result is a lot of positive impacts for #climate, #nature, and #people 😊

🎓 Thrilled to share that I have successfully completed the SETsquared Partnership - Entrepreneurial Researcher Programme (Cohort 11), delivered by the University of Exeter. This programme has been instrumental in refining InfraFund's core value propositions and market strategy. Through engaging with potential customer segments—renewable energy developers and NetZero investors—we held over 10 impactful conversations with key stakeholders in the UK renewable energy sector! This programme has been pivotal in honing InfraFund's market validation and advancing its mission of democratising renewable energy investments. 🔑 Key skills developed include: ✅ Effectively engaging stakeholders to validate our hypotheses. ✅Aligning product offerings with market needs. ✅Conducting customer discovery activities to engage with potential users and validate the problem statement. ✅Refining the Business Model Canvas, iterating potential models for revenue generation. ✅Demonstrating professionalism and confidence in presenting to panels and applying feedback effectively. ✅Gaining deep insights into target customer segments and aligning our value propositions to their needs. ✅Planning next steps for InfraFund with real-world context and actionable strategies. 🌟 During this journey, I conducted over 10 meaningful conversations with leading renewable energy developers across the UK, gaining valuable insights into industry challenges and opportunities. 💬 I’d like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Jim Williams, Head of Commercialisation in the Enterprise and Innovation Programmes Team at the Exeter Innovation of the University of Exeter, for his mentorship in refining InfraFund.net’s market strategy and facilitating key connections that shape our future. Real green power, yes please 💚   Like everyone else, we at DTU Science Park cannot control the color of the electricity in our thousands of power outlets. Therefore, we have chosen to contribute to bringing more green power into our shared power grid instead🔌   We have partnered with the climate-tech startup, The 0-Mission, which produces energy from the solar park 'Vandel' in Vejle. This means The 0-Mission matches our electricity consumption in Hørsholm with production from these solar panels 🌞   P.S. The VentureWell Ocean Enterprise Accelerator, funded by NOAA, will empower early-stage ventures to scale solutions and commercialize climate resilience technologies, including ocean renewable energy, coastal and ocean carbon sequestration, and hazard mitigation. Over the next four years, we’ll support up to 220 ventures, providing them with the tools, mentorship, and resources needed to bring ocean-based solutions to life.
