🌟 Exciting Developments in Children's Rights!🌟 I had the pleasure of meeting with Bede Sheppard and Lisa Cole from Human Rights Watch alongside our Chair of our board Paul Roberston, where we discussed some promising advancements regarding children’s rights. The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child itself does not explicitly mandate free early childhood education or public secondary education, there has been a growing recognition of these needs. The Human Rights Council has approved a Resolution to develop an Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child, explicitly recognising every child’s right to early childhood education, making pre-primary education available free to all, beginning with at least one year and making public secondary education available free to all. At Goodstart Early Learning we believe that high-quality early education is a fundamental right and a transformative tool that can significantly shape a child’s future and learning trajectory. This development will mark a significant leap forward in our mission to ensure that every child has the opportunity to receive quality early education from the very start of their lives. #Childrensrights #Earlyeducationforall #Humanrights #UNCRC #Earlychildhoodeducation #Advocacy

Embracing Inclusive Education: A Call to Action on Special Education Day! Education is the foundation of a progressive society. Yet, for many children with disabilities or special needs, access to quality education remains a distant dream. Special Education Day, observed annually on December 2, reminds us of the importance of creating an educational landscape that values diversity and ensures inclusivity. Inclusive education goes beyond integrating children with special needs into mainstream classrooms. It is about designing learning experiences that accommodate the unique strengths and challenges of every child. From accessible infrastructure to specialized teaching methods, inclusive education ensures that no one is left behind. Despite its benefits, implementing inclusive education is not without hurdles. Limited resources, lack of teacher training, and societal prejudices often act as barriers. Addressing these challenges requires a collective effort from governments, educational institutions, parents, and society at large. As we celebrate Special Education Day, let us commit to building a future where education is truly for all. Inclusive education is not a favor—it is a right. By creating schools that welcome and nurture every child, we pave the way for a society that values equity, empathy, and excellence. Let today serve as a reminder that every child, regardless of their abilities, deserves a seat at the table and the chance to succeed. Together, we can make this vision a reality. #InclusiveEducation #SpecialEducationDay #EducationForAll #ChildrenWithSpecialEducationNeeds #SrijanCounselling #NoyyalFoundation

Our program thrives across the spectrum: ● Public and private schools ● From elementary to junior college levels ● Homeschool clubs and science centers ⚬ Diversity isn't just a buzzword for us. It's the reality of the educational landscape we nurture—across ethnicities, socioeconomic backgrounds, and educational settings. By looking through this multifaceted lens, we create opportunities tailored to each unique learning environment. Our aim? To enrich the educational experience for every student, irrespective of where they come from. Education is a tapestry of experiences and backgrounds.
