Wake Up, Appreciate Teachers - Our teachers are suffering, from the districts they work for (pay, benefits, representation and more), from the parents who don't take responsibility, from the businesses that don't pay taxes but expect an educated workforce, from the communities that starve funding from voting no for a couple pennies of property or sales tax, and especially local, state and federal governments unwilling to put the children of our country first. A tipping point is near. #teacherappreciationday What tipping point? Don't believe me? Teacher.org notes that, “For a teacher making $64,133, that works out to almost $29,000 a year.
