As a parent I read books in front of my child to let my child understand that reading books is a regular and normal ritual at home. I spend time with books and that is the best way to relax and learn. Being a role model is equally important when we inspire our children to read books. #littlelaudablelearners #unlockingpotential #empoweringyoungminds #education #readingmadefun #reading #readmorebooks #readersgonnaread #readersofinstagram #kidsreading #parenting #parents #parentingtips

We just celebrated World Book Day last week. This is a sneak peek of how you can make reading fun for your little learners. Benefits of reading aloud to children include: ⭐ It helps to build their communication skills. ⭐It helps to develop their imagination. ⭐ It helps to enrich vocabulary in young children. ⭐ It helps children understand emotions through different stories. Reading is fun when children are engaged with the adult in the reading process. I like the Grufallo story. Share one of your favourite children's books in the comments section. #readingisfun #earlychildhoodeducation #readingwithkids #childucator #childdevelopment #literacyskills

The belief that picture books are only for children is a myth. As adults, we can still connect with our inner child and experience a range of emotions that are not exclusive to childhood. In fact, children's books can serve as gentle reminders and provide a soft touch in our busy lives. As someone who creates, researches, and promotes children's books, I understand their value for adults as well. Let's not limit ourselves and embrace the magic of children's literature at any age! #childrensbooks #innerchild #nevertooold #valueofreading #kidlit #Bookpublishing

Parents should act like a lighthouse, guiding their children by introducing them to various activities, helping them discover their interests, talents, and strengths, and providing the direction, support, and encouragement needed to excel in their chosen fields. Every child is unique and possesses their own set of talents. It is essential for parents to recognize and nurture these interests rather than imposing a one-size-fits-all approach. By creating an environment that aligns with a child's individual interests, parents can foster self-confidence and enthusiasm in their children. Reflective Question: How did your parents help you develop an interest in an activity you love, and what role did they play in nurturing that interest? #sportsparenting #author #books #behindasportschampion #Childrochampion #pathwaytocricketingexcellenceandbeyond #maximizingfullpotential
