My final 100 days ⏲
The countdown has begun: After more than 13 years at Skyguide, I’m now facing the last 100 days before embarking on a new chapter.
I find myself reflecting not on the best policies, projects, or perfect processes, but on the people and the moments that truly matter. No, I'm not starting anything new or exhausting myself for a last hurrah. And definitely, I'm not spending these last days lost in a sea of documentation – clean up.
My focus? A smooth handover, sure, but more importantly, making time for those who have sparked joy, happiness, and growth in me. It’s the people who have made all the difference. The ones who have turned good days into great, shared laughter and tears, and transformed problems into opportunities. Fortunately, Skyguide is filled with many such remarkable individuals who make memorable moments out of ordinary days.
So I am happy having 100 days more to express my gratitude to those very people who have stirred such profound emotions in me. And whilst writing this I realize that we all, especially leaders, may express our gratitude more often – independent of 100 or 1000 days to go.
True leadership and humanity lie in recognizing and appreciating those around us every day, far beyond any timeframe.
Let's ensure our most valuable KPIs are the smiles🙂shared, the thanks given, and the lasting connections we strengthen.
