While this may be lower than the global and regional averages of 78% and 61%, respectively, there are consequences when demand outpaces the capacity of local companies to provide the needed resources. #PersonalOpinion : #Critically, I could imagine that the statistics about lack of plan&vision is flawed here, since in Asia criticism is handled differently than in Europe for example – this would explain the small distance to the region, but huge gap to the global average. Overall, it is #encouraging to see the #dynamic #development of #digitalization through the impact of AI in the #Pinoy workforce and I hope for solid #collaborations towards more #safety and #compliance especially when it comes to the #BYOAI topic.

🌐 Shoutout to all CEOs: are you investing as much in your people as you are in AI? In a world rapidly transformed by AI, personal development has become more crucial than ever. Here's why: AI is reshaping our world, particularly the job market 🤖 In my opinion we face two scenarios: 1) AI (as software or integrated in hardware, e.g. robots) will take over most of the jobs most of the people currently hold and will create plenty of new jobs in the process 2) AI will take over most of the jobs of the present and future, leaving 95% of people unemployed. Scenario 1) means that continuous re-skilling and actual lifelong learning will become a necessity Scenario 2) presents us with a range of social, economical and political challenges, e.g. the challenge to find purpose beyond traditional work as jobs are being replaced I deeply believe that 🧠 personal development is key to coping with this complexity (and to staying mentally healthy while doing so) both as individuals and as a society. And I believe that companies are responsible to prapre their current and future workforce for what is coming! Throughout my career, I’ve been committed to solving one crucial question: “How can we help more people thrive?” Technological advancements have rapidly transformed organisational needs and the demand for upskilling has never been greater. Sundays are a sacred time for me to reflect on the events and experiences of the past week, both in my social and professional circles. This week, my reflections have centered on several pressing topics: 🔹 6G Introduction: As discussions about 6G technology begin, I find myself pondering the current state of 5G. Many operators have yet to see a return on their investment of over a trillion dollars. What does this mean for the future of telecom? Are we moving too fast? 🔹 Projected Population Boom: By 2050, the global population is expected to reach 9.8 billion, with the most significant growth occurring in Africa. This raises crucial questions about the continent's readiness in terms of health and infrastructure development. How can we ensure sustainable growth? 🔹 Business Sustainability: In industries with low barriers to entry, innovation and collaboration are essential for survival. How can businesses stay ahead in an ever-evolving market? 🔹 Technological Advancements in AI: Tech giants like Google, Meta, and OpenAI are investing heavily in AI systems designed to outthink and outperform human intelligence. While some experts warn of potential catastrophic threats, I believe AI could help solve many of our present and future challenges. However, we must approach this with caution and responsibility. Imagine the capabilities of an Artificial Super Intelligence (ASI)! 🔹 The Power of Positivity: Surrounding yourself with positivity profoundly impacts decision-making and mental well-being. Positive thinking can shape our lives in extraordinary ways.Had an interesting discussion about this with my big Sis she shared insightful nuggets which are thought provoking . It is my submission that sustainable development can only be achieved through a combination of innovation and positivity. Innovative solutions are crucial for addressing the complex challenges of our time, while a positive mindset fosters resilience and creativity.
