We’re in the running for the Smiley Charity Film Awards! These awards celebrate cause-based films that raise awareness of important issues and inspire action for change. In partnership with Asthma + Lung UK, we created a film to highlight the challenges people with chronic lung conditions face, from delayed diagnoses to learning how to manage their health. Conditions like bronchiectasis are often underdiagnosed and poorly understood, leaving many without the care they need for far too long. In this clip, Charlotte shares the story of her son Felix, who was diagnosed with bronchiectasis. Due to a lack of effective treatments, his daily life now includes airway clearances, and he is at risk of flare-ups and deteriorating lung health. We hope to raise awareness of this overlooked condition and highlight the urgent need for new innovations to improve lung health and the lives of people living with bronchiectasis.
