Giving gratitude away isn’t just for the holiday season—it’s a strategy that builds loyalty, pride, and long-lasting connections. Yet, sometimes recognition becomes an afterthought. So, let me ask: who are you grateful for in your business, and when’s the last time you told them? Here are three top priorities to consider: 1. Platinum Clients Who are your star clients—the ones who are easy to work with, bring referrals, and leave glowing testimonials? Recognizing their effort not only builds loyalty but also strengthens the connection to your business. It’s a win-win! 2. Resources & Strategic Partners Your vendors and partners are the unsung heroes who help you meet deadlines, pivot when needed, and make things happen behind the scenes. These people make you look like a rock star, so don’t forget to thank them! 3. Key Employees & Business Partners Who has your back day in and day out? Showing appreciation for those who show up consistently is vital. It’s rare these days, but essential to maintaining the quality of your brand. Remember, what’s rewarded is repeated. And while the 4th quarter may be busy (you know I’m not a fan of the ‘busy’ word), there’s always time to recognize those who help you deliver world-class results. Celebrated 2 years at Litera this week, and what a journey it's been! 🎉 There are a lot of lessons I've learned (or re-learned) and I wanted to share some of my greatest takeaways: 1. Do What You Know is Right: Best practices are best practices for a reason, and starting somewhere new does not mean that you no longer have the expertise that you've gained throughout your career. It's about applying this expertise to a new industry and culture - but don't back down from what you know will drive success. 2. Seek to Understand: Stakes are high at fast-growing tech companies and it's easy to get defensive or respond before you have all of the answers. 3. Trust but Verify: People will tell you a lot of things. Believe them, but back that up with data or evidence to really get to the core of what needs solving for. 4. You Don't Have to Know EVERYTHING to be Successful. Litera has an extensive (but incredible) product portfolio. At all of my previous companies, I could flawlessly demo our products, easily move an opp through the process in Salesforce, and became an expert in the industry. Coming to a place where it's nearly impossible to be an expert in all of the things still remains a challenge for me, but I love that I get to continuously learn about this industry, our customers, and our products. It helps that we have literally the best SMEs in the biz, too. 5. It's Okay to Say NO... 6. But be Ready to Say Yes. Nothing is impossible, but it may mean shifting priorities to make it happen. 7. Control What You Can Control. Easier said than done, but it IS possible to take a step back and regain control of your work. 8. Lean on Your People: Find your safe space at work. For me, this includes some Book Club gals, a few of my close partners who are always there to listen (ukwur), and SO many women in leadership that I get to look up to. You do not have to do everything alone. 9. Take the PTO: and no, emergency medical leave doesn't count. 🤙 I don't typically take the time to reflect, and there's so many more points I could add - but for now I'm going to be thoroughly enjoying the long weekend & ready to get back after it on Tuesday. 🍻 🏈 ✌

Thanksgiving is a time to pause, reflect, and give thanks. For those of us in SaaS sales, it’s also an opportunity to appreciate the journey we’re on—because, let’s face it, every deal closed is a team effort. I'm thankful for: 💻 The Tools: From CRMs to automation platforms, these are our daily lifelines, streamlining processes and helping us focus on what matters most—building relationships. 👥 The People: Whether it’s our prospects, who trust us to solve their challenges, or our teams, who collaborate, coach, and celebrate every win (big or small). 📊 The Lessons: Every “no” teaches resilience. Every objection builds skill. Every “yes” fuels growth and confidence. As we head into the final stretch of Q4, let’s remember: Gratitude isn’t just a Thanksgiving theme—it’s a mindset that can transform our approach to sales. Showing genuine appreciation for our customers, prospects, and teams fosters trust, strengthens relationships, and often leads to success that metrics alone can’t measure. In those moments, you must clap for yourself—be your biggest fan." -Unknown This quote has stuck with me because it serves as a reminder that there are times when the applause is absent, and in those moments, the most important thing is to keep going—motivated by your own belief in yourself. During those tough days when it feels like giving up is easier, it’s the internal drive that carries you forward. One secret I’d like to share: To stay grounded when consistency is tough, I’ve built a daily habit of asking myself before wrapping up work: Did I stay true to my principles, give my full effort, and focus on doing the right thing, ensuring I maintain the trust placed in me, regardless of external validation? This daily practice helps me stay aligned with my values and reflect on whether I have truly given my best, even when the journey gets tough. And, this Thanksgiving, I am truly thankful for the continuous support from my clients, supplier partners, LI Network and Evolutyz Corp, including my manager and the amazing teams across Technology, HR/PeopleOps, Digital Marketing, Finance, Customer Success, and Delivery.
