🎉 I am very excited because today I received notification that my organization SaveClimate. Earth won first place in the REMARKABLE Climate Leaders Neutrality Solutions Contest🏆. Entries were judged on 💡 innovation 💡 impact 💡 practicality 💡 feasibility 💡 relevance and our solution won 🤩. It is an accolade for the ECO climate currency and the idea of introducing personal emissions budgets to all citizens. We are delighted that the ECO has been recognized as having the potential to drive the transition to a sustainable, climate-neutral future.🌱 ✅ As a result we can look forward to exclusive coaching and of course we hope that the ECO climate currency will become even more widely known and that we can further expand our network. Climate Salad's Climate Tech Industry Report 2023 report has some fascinating insights. 🏢 228 climate tech companies stated: 💰A combined revenue of $385M, from a raised capital of $553M. 🤝An almost 3-fold increase in VC deals from just 3 years prior.  ☁️ 2M tonnes of CO2 removed from the atmosphere.  🌎 A combined goal of more than 1,300 GT removed by 2030. In climate tech, a lot can happen in just 12 months. It won’t be that long before the 2024 report will be out. TerraCapX focuses on investment models tied to carbon assets, through a Scope 3 science-based aligned SVP model. TerraCapX’s approach encourages companies to invest directly in carbon assets (carbon removals, carbon credits) through Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs), facilitating equity ownership in these assets aligned to climate targets and scope 3 emissions. In line with Scope 3 Claim Public Consultation, hosted by VCMI which aims to help companies accelerate their efforts to address Scope 3 emissions by providing a voluntary carbon market framework. This initiative focuses on companies that struggle to fully eliminate Scope 3 emissions, allowing them to purchase and retire high-quality carbon credits as part of their climate strategy.
