It's not everyday that you get to film a commercial for an iconic brand that you grew up playing with 😮 Thanks to our friends at LEGO and Comic Relief for trusting us with being your video production agency for this campaign!
Comic Relief US is thrilled to announce the launch of the nationwide "Community Builders Challenge,” an exciting new partnership with the LEGO Group. This initiative is a fusion of our shared vision to empower children to inspire real-world change through play. Supported by the LEGO Group's "Build the Change" team, this challenge adds more hands-on learning experiences to Red Nose Day in School, our free SEL educational program designed to teach young students about the impacts of poverty on children, foster empathy building, and celebrate acts of kindness in the classroom and beyond. As our CEO, Alison Moore, says, "Red Nose Day is all about leveraging creativity and fun to ensure every young person is equipped with the skills, opportunities, and confidence to transform the world around them. Through our partnership with the LEGO Group, we aim to reach thousands of young changemakers, fostering inclusion and kindness." David Pallash of the LEGO Group's “Build the Change” adds, "We're ecstatic to partner with Comic Relief US. The fun and playfulness we've created together will hopefully spark incredible ideas from kids across the country – ideas that can inspire others to better the world around them." Students aged 6-12 can participate in the Community Builders Challenge, collaborating within their classrooms to use materials ranging from LEGO® bricks to popsicle sticks to build "dream communities." These creations, from kindness parks to wellness centers and new green spaces, will all feature and be powered by our iconic Red Nose, symbolizing positivity and inclusion. Teachers and educators are encouraged to join in by downloading our lesson guide and interactive activity sheet and then submitting their class's creation by April 15, 2024. Entries will be judged by a panel of Red Nose Day ambassadors and LEGO® enthusiasts, with winners announced in May. To learn more and get involved, please visit rednoseday.org/LEGO
