🚢🏉 Rugby Union and Shoreside Maritime Recruitment: Lessons in Teamwork and Resilience This past Saturday, December 14th, Rugby Club Valencia faced Sant Cugat Rugby in a fiercely contested match. The final score was 23-16 in our favor, with Sant Cugat scoring a converted try in the dying moments. A powerful reminder that success requires effort and focus right up to the final whistle. Unfortunately, our number 3 sustained a calf injury during the game, and I had to carry him off the field. While it’s never ideal to see a player sidelined, moments like these highlight the importance of teamwork and adaptability—values that are just as vital in the professional world as they are on the pitch. In shoreside maritime recruitment, we’re tasked with finding skilled boatbuilders, carpenters, team leaders, and project managers who can bring their unique strengths to the table. Much like rugby, success in this sector is about assembling the right mix of talent, ensuring every individual plays to their strengths, and building teams that work together seamlessly. Saturday’s win was a testament to the power of collaboration, determination, and mutual support. These are the same qualities we strive to foster in the shoreside maritime industry—creating teams that can overcome challenges and achieve great things together. Congratulations to Rugby Club Valencia on this important victory, and here’s to channeling that same energy into building strong, resilient teams both on and off the field! #Teamwork #RugbyUnion #MaritimeRecruitment #RugbyClubValencia #Resilience

Over the past four years, RUGBY GOLF CLUB has harnessed the power of feedback with Players 1st. They started with a basic online survey and a limited number of questions with a response rate below 20%. 🙁 Since introducing Players 1st, their response rate average for the past 4 years has been 50%. 😊 The integration of surveys from Players 1st has proven to bring other benefits than just a higher response rate for Rugby Golf Club. 👇Explore more below. #customerexperience #golfmanagement #surveys https://lnkd.in/eKXis5kg

The importance of holistically developing professional athletes in practice...
“I needed to get something outside of rugby, I just needed a plan for something I can do after rugby and I'm just mad into strength & conditioning and the gym side of things. So Rugby Players Ireland got me in touch with Setanta College and they've been unbelievable in aiding me. Great insight from Calvin Nash in the URC's More Than A Player series. Making progress 📈 75% of Yellow Panther's clients are in sport. But our approach is a little different. When delivering a project we don't normally look at other sports brands for inspiration. We tend to look at brands in other industries such as e-commerce, entertainment and SAAS for best practices. If you work in sport look outside the bubble of what your rivals are doing, think bigger, look at the real game changers. There's inspiration all around from brands that are breaking the mould.
What do you want to do when you grow up.... 🤔 "Work in sport" 🎾 Let's get to work 👩💻 This year our pack has grown and we're proud to work with; Premier Padel 🎾 Team GB 🥇 International Skating Union ⛸ Desert Champions 🎾 UTR Sports 🎾 Qatar Sports Investments ⚽ Bowls England 🏆 PLAI Sport 🏀 Somerset County Cricket Club 🏏 Leicestershire County Cricket Club 🏏 Gravity Fitness 💪 TTB Sport Capital ⚖️

🤔 We haven’t always focused on safety the way we do now. ☃️ A few years back we were high up in the roof of the Aviva Stadium making it snow for a Leinster Rugby match. We did a lot of snow shows and #events over the years. ❓ What is the most unusual gig you’ve done? #enablingcreativity #SafeEventsGlobal #eventsafety #crowdsafety #eventprofs #eventprofsUK

In the world of rugby, there are few things more exhilarating than witnessing an underdog rise to the occasion and triumph against the odds. England's recent victory over Ireland in rugby is a testament to the power of positivity, teamwork, and the willingness to embrace change. When England stepped onto the pitch as the underdogs against Ireland, few predicted the outcome - as the game unfolded, it became clear that this was a team determined to defy expectations and write their own story. They showed resilience in the face of adversity, refusing to be daunted by the challenges ahead. One of the most inspiring aspects of England's performance was their ability to come together as a cohesive unit. Despite the pressure and intensity of the match, they remained united in their pursuit of victory. Each player knew their role and executed it with precision, demonstrating the importance of trust and collaboration on the field. Let’s be honest – for the first time in a while. But perhaps what was most striking about England's performance was their willingness to try new things – for England! They embraced innovation and experimentation, unafraid to push the boundaries of conventional normal English tactics. This willingness to adapt and evolve is what sets great teams apart from the rest, and it was evident in every pass, tackle, and try. As we reflect on England's triumph over Ireland, we are reminded of the power of positivity, teamwork, and innovation. It serves as a timely reminder that with the right attitude and a collective effort, anything is possible. Who knows, perhaps this victory is just the beginning of something truly special for English rugby – but let’s not get ahead of ourselves as the French await England next week!! So, whether you're the underdog or facing a rough patch, remember to regroup, focus on improvement, prioritise teamwork and let enthusiasm power your journey to success! #teamwork #enthusiasm #underdog
