I do have a concern in the industry. It's for the #locksmith and I'm concerned because it's inevitble that one day I'll be back in that space as a business owner (it's on the road-map). The locksmith is truly the omphalos, the cynosure, the locus of the security industry. Evolved from the ancient blacksmith, the locksmith trade was the bridge that let our industry stay afloat long enough for technological advancement. To do all that, and still be very relevant today is quite an accomplishment; the locksmith allows doors to be open, fixes and maintains things to extend the life of the things around us; bringing peace and harmony. True locksmiths are a bit of philosophers as working in the material world they learn how the spiritual works. The trade should be protected, and that is going to take a intentional focus from our industry; they're too humble and stubborn to do it themselves, but it is that nature that allows them to be what they are to us. #physicalsecurity #lockandkey #lock #door #doorhardware
