It is one thing to have in place principles and standards concerning patients as partners in care, it is another thing to put those into authentic and sustainable practice. These new resources from Healthcare Excellence Canada include an engagement capable environments self-assessment tool. This is a tool that recognises and encourages organisations to involve patients, families and carers to influence and improve research, processes, systems, services and governance. #WorldPatientSafetyDay2924 #realpartnerships
