🌟 ANAFAPYT held its Jornadas Técnicas 2024 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, México, a strategic location due to its industrial leadership and strong connection for economic development. This event brought together over 300 industry technicians, highlighting the importance of collaboration and knowledge sharing in the sector on technology and regulations. 🤝💡 The event was hosted by Marcelo E Herrera Díaz, ANAFAPYT's President, and Flor de María González Mariblanca, ANAFAPYT's General Director. In this framework, the Master Workshop "Formulation of Lead-Free Paints" took place, led by Philip Green, consultant of the Lead Exposure Elimination Project (LEEP), along with Victoria Krauss. The more technical our world becomes, the more important human, personal exchange of experiences becomes. For this reason, our Director of Quality Management Nico Weiler welcomed experts from the "wvib Schwarzwald AG Fach-Erfa Quality Managers Automotive" in Oberkirch at the beginning of December to generate mutually valuable input in times like these. The declared goal was to inform colleagues from the business network in the field of quality management about our corporate strategy, but specifically about our path in terms of sustainability management as a technology leader. This included Nico Weiler giving the very interested audience a detailed insight into Layered Process Audits (LPA) after a brief introduction round. In his presentation, he focused on showing how the opportunities and risks of our self-developed digital platform for the production shop floor can be utilized in quality and sustainability management - and ultimately how process standards can be consistently and significantly increased. The activities in sustainability management were then presented by Maximilian Mauermann, Senior Manager Group ESG at PWO. The highlight of the day was the concluding plant and showroom tour, which offered participants practical insights and extensive room for exchange - thus creating enthusiasm for future meetings.
