POST SERVICE ON SERVICE Being facilitator is not a joke. Wee people working around in order to manage the workshop as per client expectation. Sometimes finding balance between accommodating too much to client agenda and denying all their request is not an easy call. In a frequent chance, find a way in between are often got caught by time constraint, alienation of idea, or too much post work activities. So, the best thing is to prepare yourself: both technically and semiotics. Technically, I always asking client to provide me with latest P&ID and cause and effect diagrams. If required and have been prepared - of course I asked for TOR (terms of reference). But often than not, you people should prepare the TOR yourself as facilitator. Non-technical, semiotics, I often evaluate the culture of client company, what the signifier and what is the signified. Included in this part: the behavior of the persons attending the workshop, their strengths and weaknesses, as well the how the workshop meeting room could affect tge dynamics of the meeting (e.g., lighting, the size, occupancy, sound system, etc.), how the client talking and perceiving others, and so on. After the meeting completed, more tasks are coming after us. Reviewing the worksheet for once more, providing client with additional informations (sometimes, as post sales service we could supply them with more informations or knowledge).
