This year, with so many charities and community groups facing challenges, I found it difficult to pick just one. Then I realized—we could make a bigger impact together! 🩵 MAKE A PLEDGE 🩵 We need your help! We’re asking for pledges to help us raise enough money to employ a Parent Peer Support Worker, which would be our very FIRST paid role at the charity. All parent peer support is currently provided by our volunteers, so our resources can only stretch so far. If you can pledge to our campaign before 30th August, it’ll help us to double any donations so we’re more likely to reach our ambitious target! We need a MINIMUM of £1,000 in order to qualify for the doubled donations. We need a minimum of £6,250 to make our £25k target more reachable when the campaign runs in December. So, any pledge you can make will be a massive help for us. Your pledged donation will be due between 10th December and 17th January 2025. Payment will not be needed before 10th December. Charity – Giving Back to Society It feels so heartwarming when a customer approaches us and says, "I want to create a separate portfolio dedicated entirely to charity." This growing trend has inspired us to include charity as one of the key goals in financial planning. For instance, one of our clients created a dedicated portfolio (instead of opting for Portfolio Management Services) and structured their will accordingly. Another client set up a portfolio specifically to generate regular interest, which they donate every December. The festive season, filled with hope, joy, peace, and love, truly reflects how people find their unique ways to give back. Personally, I believe that giving your time is the most precious gift you can offer. However, one of our clients has taken a remarkable step by allocating ₹70 lakhs in hybrid funds solely for charity, with all the returns from the investment going towards philanthropic causes.
