Latchel’s Post

🌟 At our company, giving back is part of our culture! Every quarter, we're proud to offer our employees a paid day off to volunteer in their communities. It's more than a benefit—it's one of our team's favorite activities and a core part of who we are. #CommunityEngagement #TeamBuilding #CorporateResponsibility Here is one of the stories from our operations supervisor Lavina Elaine D. "For my Winter Latchel Community Day, I spent time giving back to our local tricycle drivers—a community close to my heart since my father is also a tricycle driver. I’ve lived in this neighborhood since I was 3, and these hardworking drivers have always been dedicated to getting their passengers- including me and now my kids, home safely (Rain or shine).I initially didn’t have enough funds to provide everything I hoped for, like rice for each driver. So, I reached out to the president of the tricycle association in our area and together we asked our city counselor for additional support. With their help, we were able to secure enough funding to give at least 15 kilos of rice to each of the 225 tricycle drivers. Whoop Whooop! On top of that, I bought some appliances for a raffle to make the event even more joyful and exciting. I sweetly asked my hubby for some additional cash (I simply whispered in his ear, “Happy wife, happy life!” LOL). Well it turned into a truly memorable day. It was heartwarming and filled with gratitude and community spirit—a truly Merry Christmas!"
