I often get asked about my day-to-day as a recruiter. Here’s a fun interaction from today: I come across a candidate’s profile that's set "open for new opportunities"—listing “Clinical Data Management” and “Senior Clinical Data Manager” as key roles. Their profile picture even has a banner saying "Open to Work." 🤩 Feeling optimistic, I think, "What a great way to kick off the week!" So, I call the candidate to discuss a senior role I have in mind. Me: “Hi! I wanted to share some information about the Senior Clinical Data Management role.” Candidate: “Oh, no. I’m not looking for new opportunities. I’m happy in my current role.” Me: 🦗 Crickets 🦗 Ah, the joys of recruiting! It’s a wild ride where sometimes the “open to work” banner might just be for decoration. 😂 #RecruiterLife #JobSeeking #CareerHumor #MondayMotivation

When small business hires inexperienced people it can cost more than you think, not just fines ( which should have been higher, Ijs), but it makes the business look incompetent and can ruin potential clients and your bottom line. Don’t let this happen to your small business. #workplaceculture #culturedonts #inclusion

The volume of candidates put everyone at a disadvantage. Overwhelms the hiring manager and subsequently undervalues every candidate because your resume is being reviewed at a lighting speed. How can you cut through the clutter? Your network. Ask them to get your resume to the top of the pile or at least seem to be considered. I only post open roles that were posted by someone at the company. I do this to help you navigate. If they are not the hiring manager, still reach out ask them to help you with the process. Always be courteous and respectful, they might be your co worker, they might be a decision maker but they are human. 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐎𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐨𝐩 𝐁𝐢𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐚 𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀: The top three Biopharma hubs for seeking jobs in the U.S. are the 𝗕𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗼, 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗬𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗼, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼 𝗕𝗮𝘆 𝗔𝗿𝗲𝗮 based on insights from 𝘋𝘳𝘶𝘨 𝘋𝘪𝘴𝘤𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘋𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘱𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 that reviewed more than 1,700 job postings in May 2024. 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀: States leading the way in terms of job openings are 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗮, 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗰𝗵𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘁𝘁𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗝𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝘆, with a strong focus on 𝗥&𝗗, 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘀.
