The Japanese American National Museum (JANM) is embarking on the most significant renovation of its Pavilion since it opened in 1998, including an ambitious reimagination of the core exhibition. To continue engaging with the public when the Pavilion closes for renovation, JANM is kicking off "JANM on the GO" in January 2025 with a series of special exhibits, public programs, festivals and pop-up events. Check out more about it in this video, including a few renderings of our project! https://lnkd.in/gUS2NJpf The renovation project will provide a new greeting experience for visitors and better tell the story of Japanese Americans through new content, artifacts, and personal histories drawing from JANM's extensive collections. This project is currently underway with design and will commence construction in 2025.
