Three Electric Buses Catch Fire While Being Charged in Ahmedabad Electric Bikes Charging in Garage Spark Fire in Maineville, Ohio, emphasizing the need for supervised charging. Suspected Lithium-ion Battery Housefire in Joplin, Missouri Lithium Battery Fire Destroys Van in Chon Buri, Thailand Battery Fire at East Penn Facility in Pennsylvania E-Bike Battery Pack Fire in Toms River, New Jersey Brooklyn E-Bike Battery Explosion critically injuring a man and destroying multiple properties. Recent Legislative Measures: Suffolk County, NY: New law mandates certification of lithium-ion batteries for electric-assist bicycles and other mobility devices. New Hampshire: House Bill 1386 prohibits disposal of lithium-ion batteries in landfills and incinerators, promoting proper recycling.
