#SSETS 2.0 Pilot Program A pilot training session was conducted as part of the #TrainingForImpactOnSSETS initiative. This program was specifically designed for students and laboratory staff to gain direct insight into the Sintering process, which involves shaping metal through heating, pressing, or a combination of both methods. This process plays a significant role in addressing climate change by use of less energy consumption in manufacturing operations. The #SSETS initiative suggested that the training be implemented as a pilot program lasting three to five days, which was successfully organized and delivered. I had the pleasure of co-facilitating the training alongside my colleague, DIEUDONNE SAMARI NUMFOR, and the participants expressed their satisfaction and gratitude. The realization of the #TrainingForImpactOnSSETS initiative was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, Lancaster University, British Council, and the National Universities Commission (NUC). I would also like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to the Principal Investigator, Professor Kirk T. Semple, Project Manager Dr. Akanimo Odon, Deputy Project Manager Dr Viola Akhigbe, and Coaches Alice Njolke Mafe, Akumir hinjari & Rinret Winniefred Lukden and Ahmadu Bello University Zaria through the leadership of Prof. Aisha AbdulKadir for the untiring support and lectures all through the program. Regards to #SSETS followers
