By tomorrow, November 30th, we must raise $1,100 to cover her final rent payment in Hugo, OK. Without this support, she will be left homeless. Please visit b.link/help-Jenny to make a donation. - **Share:** Spread the word within your networks. Every share could lead to a new donor and a life-changing contribution. **Thank You:** For each $25 donation, Jenny and I want to show our gratitude: - **Promotional Support:** If you have a Spotfund campaign, provide us with your campaign message and 12 email addresses. We'll forward your message to those addresses on your behalf. - **AI Assistance:** We'll introduce you to Microsoft Copilot AI Bots and share how they can help transform your business life, including fundraising. Matter is Riding to End Youth Homelessness On November 15th, we’re joining the Healesville Tour de PIF: Tour for Homeless Youth - a cycling challenge dedicated to raising funds to provide young Australians facing homelessness with a safe, secure home. Every night, 46,000 young people experience homelessness and half of them are turned away from accommodation services. Through the Property Industry Foundation, we have a chance to make a real difference. Every donation helps build much-needed housing and provides ongoing support for young people in need. With in-kind contributions from the property and construction industry, every $1 donated is doubled in value. Our goal is to raise $2,000, and we need your help to reach it. Let’s allow homeless youth to shape their own futures. Click here: https://lnkd.in/eynvfVwm to sponsor our team and help us make a lasting impact. Together, we can help end youth homelessness. #TourDePIF #TeamMatter #EndYouthHomelessness #SupportTheCause #DonateNow

To me, these events were simply discomfort. To at risk Youth, these events represent #Crisis. I am unable to comprehend how young people, already battling all kinds of crises in their lives, have managed to cope without a safe home to go to and a roof over their heads. Sadly, and this sickens me, many youth have been unable to cope with these hardships and have succumbed. And winters cold is only beginning. #CovenantHouseVancouver is the Advocate for Homeless Youth in Vancouver. Firstly, #CHV provides unconditional love and respect for young people aged 16-24. Covenant House Vancouver provides these youth compassion, support, and an opportunity for a fresh start. When they arrive at Covenant House Vancouver, young people have often experienced #trauma. They may be #scared, #hungry, and #exhausted. The First priority is to meet their basic needs by providing them with: * Medical attention * Nutritious food and hydration * A safe place to sleep There are 60 beds in the short-term Crisis Program. Along with safe, supported housing, young people receive clothing, and hygiene supplies. They can also receive employment and education supports, access to Registered Clinical Counsellors and Social Workers, and help in transitioning to independent living, when ready. I have supported Covenant House Vancouver for nearly 10 years, and this is my 7th Sleepout. I know the challenge society faces with Homelessness is daunting, and I know that Covenant House Vancouver does all it can do with every Young Person that they engage with. Addressing America's affordable housing crisis is a pressing challenge that affects millions of individuals and families across the nation. The escalating costs of housing, combined with stagnant wages and rising living expenses, have pushed many low- and moderate-income households into precarious financial situations. Families struggling to afford housing often face difficult choices, sacrificing essential aspects of life needed to survive, which can lead to long-term negative impacts on their well-being and that of their children. By prioritizing affordable housing, we can create a foundation for stability, allowing families to focus on opportunities for growth and development. To effectively tackle this crisis, a collaborative approach is necessary, involving government, non-profits, and private sectors. Thankfully our Hudson County Community has those within it advocating for affordable housing. We are honoring multiple advocates at our upcoming fundraiser cocktail party, “An Evening of Promise Gala: Bridging A Better Future Together!” Help us combat the ongoing shortage of affordable housing by attending our upcoming event and supporting its honorees! You can purchase your tickets via the following link: https://lnkd.in/ebufN3SY Remember, together WE can, so what are you waiting for? We can't agree and we're too close to it now - so hopefully my LinkedIn connections can help. What should the new tagline of Church Homeless Charity be? Your support, their future. Pathways out of homelessness. Small grants, big impact on lives. Grants that change lives. Your compassion in action. Investing in human potential. Empowering lives, one grant at a time. Grants that open doors. A little help for a new start. Building hope with small grants. * Note that ‘Compassion in Action’ is an existing charity, so we need to be wary there. We provide small grants to homeless people through a network of registered support services. They help identify where an individual needs specific support and we can get the money to that person within days. The grants provide hope, dignity and a lifeline when it is needed most.

🌟Myth: Donating to Homelessness Charities Doesn’t Make a Difference 🌟Reality: Every contribution counts. Your support helps us provide vital identification documents that open doors to housing, employment, and a fresh start for those in need. Without these essential IDs, many individuals remain stuck in a cycle of homelessness, unable to access the services that can change their lives. In fact, just $12 gets a state ID in the hands of someone looking to end their homelessness! At Homeless ID Project, we see the impact of every donation firsthand. Each dollar goes toward helping someone take that critical first step toward stability and independence. Want to make a difference? Your donation can help us continue this life-changing work. Donate Today: HIDP.org and click ‘Donate’ or text hidp to 44321. Let’s work together to give everyone the opportunity for a fresh start. ❤️ #EndHomelessness #HomelessIDProject #EveryDonationCounts #SupportChange #MakeADifference

We evaluated our support to #SmallButVital charities in the homelessness sector to understand its impact on people and communities. Housing and homelessness charities are a long-standing and significant part of our funding portfolio, and broadly representative of the small charities we support – they are often in the eye of the storm and feel the bluntest effects of austerity. We looked at the impact of our funding, development support and influencing work on people, charities, communities and society. The emerging findings continue to demonstrate the importance of strong relationships, unrestricted funding and building a thriving and resilient population of smaller charities against a backdrop of sustained deterioration in the underlying operating environment. It’s #GivingTuesday!💕 Today, I ask your support in helping One Happy Mama raise $5,000 to create an emergency housing fund for the young mothers in our community. At One Happy Mama, we believe that every mother deserves a safe and stable place to call home. Unfortunately, housing instability is a major challenge for many young mothers. According to the National Low Income Housing Coalition, 1 in 4 households with children experience some form of housing insecurity. For these moms, a lack of stable housing makes it even harder to break the cycle of poverty, focus on their goals, and care for their children. With your help, we can ensure these mothers have access to the support they need during times of crisis. One Happy Mama is a community-driven organization, and it’s because of YOUR support that we can continue to make a lasting impact in the lives of the families we serve. Please consider donating today and be a part of this mission to help moms stay grounded and thrive. 💕 https://lnkd.in/gTQUKGBk #onehappymama #SupportMoms #CommunityCare #HousingForAll #momnonprofit #nonprofitsformoms
