I was always afraid of sales! 😔 I preferred being behind the screen and handling backend tasks. But that changed after I watched a podcast hosted by Adeep Konnur ↗️featuring Manmeet Kaur. It made me realize that although sales require many skills, the core of it, especially in a marketing agency, is just to be honest. So today, I finally met with a person who had been a prospect for a long time, but my fears were delaying the conversion. We had a discovery session where I: 1- Asked a lot of questions to understand their business. 2- Inquired about how they've been acquiring clients in the past. 3- Discussed a rough plan and told them I would be back in 2-3 days after doing my homework (research) based on our discussion. AND THE SECRET SAUCE— I DIDN’T DISCUSS ANYTHING ABOUT THE PRICE! As my mentor Manmeet Kaur always says, "Focus on building a relationship; money will follow."
