Los Angeles Housing Department’s Post

This morning, the Los Angeles City Council confirmed Tiena Johnson Hall as the new General Manager of the Los Angeles Housing Department! As a native Angeleno who raised her two small children in affordable housing, issues of public housing quality, preservation and access became personally important for her. In the role of General Manager, she will focus on increasing affordable housing production, preserving thousands of existing affordable units in the City, and ensuring habitability in existing housing.  Ms. Johnson Hall will start in the role in early January 2025.
